Does TSMM have rider swap? I am not sure I want my barely 3 month old's head to be swung to and fro like that lol! Any advice?

Yes. Most rides have rider swap of some form. Most rider swaps involve using the FastPass lines for the second rider but not all. Just check with the line greeter and they will help you.

Toy Story does not do rider swap since there is no height requirement. You will either all have to ride or someone will need to stay off with the baby. My then 3 mo old rode it several times that trip with no issues...just support their head.

I didn't take my baby on that one til she hit the 5 month mark. There's no height requirement, but you do get tossed around a bit. Some babies don't have perfect head support at 3 months. If OP is going to do it, I'd bring the baby on in a carrier.

I plan on bringing our 3 month old on in a Moby wrap. That's very secure and the baby's head will be against my chest. I will still hold his head. I will just need to play one handed....my score is never very good anyway. ;)

My son was older (10 months), but asleep, and this was 6 years ago, but I know we used rider swap. So...ymmv.

I'd say the ride does and it doesn't have baby swap.

When I first went with a little one (6 m/o) on my last trip I also asked about rider swap, also because I didn't think spinning rides and babies necks make a good combo. The CM mentioned I should bring the baby since it is for all ages. I was a little concerned, spoke with the CM a bit about it and decided reluctantly to do it. When I got to the front and saw the ride for the first time I told the CM at the front there was no way I was taking my baby on that, and if it was ok to get a baby swap for my wife. You could kinda tell they didn't want to do it but they said ok.

I can understand them wanting to limit swaps with how popular the ride is, but all they ended up doing was waste a bit of time for my wife.

I think it honestly depends on how busy they are. We had a FP+ for it yesterday and our son was asleep and they wouldn't allow us to switch.

If you both make a FP, you have an hour window. Easywdw, says it takes about 18 minutes, so that should be more than enough time. RS isn't any different from the FP line, so having a RS isn't any faster than having 2 FP

Not faster, slower. Which is why the CM's don't want to do it. It disrupts the load queue.

OP, when bringing a child that young to the parks, some kind of compact baby-wearing setup is, IMO, pretty much essential because of the awkwardness of trying to hold an infant while safely climbing in and out of ride vehicles, especially in those situations where the ride loads from a conveyor, such as Peter Pan. I always used a sling, and it has the added value of safely supporting the baby's head even when the ride is a little boisterous.

When we were there with our 8 month old, they made me take her out of my Beco (baby carrier) in order to ride. I wasn't much competition for my husband in scoring because of that.

We were able to use rider swap either in '11 or '12 (can't remember) but I also remember bringing him on the ride one of those times. Baby was 8 months.

Technically, they don't have riderswap for TSMM. However, you might get a nice CM, but I would be prepared that they won't let you. You could use FP and ride separately.
