Wow Steph-
That poem brought tears to my eyes. I was a Girl Scout leader for 6 years. I had the same core group of girls w/ a few coming & going from K-5th grade. They all dedided to quit when they started 6th. I still see most of them & just the other day some of them were talking to me about some fo the overnights we took
I had a group of 'spoiled scouts'....they tried camping & let's just say that it just wasn't for them So we started renting hotel rooms instead hotel rooms near malls actually We created our own shopping badge Kinda like Michigan's version of "Troop Beverly Hills" LOLanyone remember that movie??

We've been glued to the TV here this morning, after going to bed early last night.

I'm an ex-den leader and cub master. Sharon is a troop leader for Katie's GS troop.

I have some really great memories from my time in scouting.

Sharon is building some with Katie too.

Erin is still in scouts too. They go cabin camping. I don't think they've got a shopping badge though!

According to my friend, a former Navy pilot, you can turn it inside out and backward to get more use out of one pair if necessary. Let me just state for the record......I hope it NEVER becomes necessary!

Good morning all! I have to say Bernie, you said all that so very well. My prayers go out to all the troops and their loved ones... I just pray for a quick resolution and that all stay safe. Thank you though for those wonderful thoughts!

L6, now you have to go on that trip... even our state officials say that we need to maintain normalcy as we live through this. Actually a trip to see the Mouse could be exactly what you would need at this time. So if I had a trip to WDW planned, I would still be going.

I loved Troop Bev. Hills! That was so funny! I swear though that camping isn't as hard as some make it out to be. After all I heard of all my brother had while camping and I swear they lived like kings out there!

Good morning everyone

I got a picture in my head of Bernie in Dwarf underwear--scary!

Nice thoughts, Bro. And, yes, this is a group of friends, but not a closed group. I ALWAYS feel comfortable bringing concerns here that I might not take to the DIS boards as a whole.

Prayers that this conflict will be resolved quickly with minimal loss of lives.

I was a GS leader and DH was a Webelos leader. I think that this group of Riddlers is the same group you see in your hometown. The group that volunteers and does Scouts and PTA and band boosters. You know, the parents involved in everything. That is why we get along, we are so alike.

So, no clue on the riddle, but that is OK.
