I know I am thinking WAY to hard this AM.....Maybe too long a day at work yesterday and having to head out early again today....I'll keep thinkin' !

Summer is here, at least for now, Sandi! We're going to get a bit of a cool-down next week, but it'll still be in the upper 70's. Can't complain!

Running through a sprinkler is a great time too, Kim! We used to have one of those slip and slides. Now THAT is a blast!

We had our first "summer" dinner last night. Way to hot to cook in the kitchen, so we packed the family and the barbecue up and headed over to Roger's Cove. Its a City park on Little Lake with swimming, trees, picnic areas and usually a wonderful breeze.

Summer has officially started for us.

I was watching the weatherman last night......SNOW in Colorado. Pictures of snow plows and roads closed due to snow. What gives with our weather these days .

the front is headed our way but at the worst it will only drop the temp down to a more liveable mid 70's for the weekend. Fear not Bernie still warm enough to swim.

I usually do the "slip n slide" in the winter, on the ice.

We can't do sprinkers or slip and slides here. Just too many trees in the woods! We used to have a slip and slide at our old house, and kids and adults both loved it! We had a GREAT hill we used it on.

Morning riddle friends!

Still on vacation but up earlier today.....we're heading to Maine for the day!!! We're going to be cruising the coast and eating at one of our favorite stops. This place is large enough to hold all the riddlers.....The Clam Bake

We'd love to have a pool too....but at least we have friends like Bernie just "up the road a piece".......

I would like to have a pool too, but since I don't I settle for visiting my friends place. They have an in-door pool so I can swim year round I am going to be 'house sitting' for them this summer too!!

'Morning, Gail! That place looks great! My BIL in Massachusetts used to be a cook on a fishing boat. He puts together awesome clam bakes when we go there in the summer!

Lobster, clams, taters, whole onions, carrots, sausages, hot dogs and lots of broth and drawn butter. And a cold beer.

We always start the meal with raw little-necks too. Oh my, I'm getting hungry thinking about it.

The meal usually lasts a couple of hours....
