Riddle me this!

Pretty short race, wasn't it, Steph?

I'm listening to the Today show a bit now - they're calling it the storm of the century!

Seems strange to have a huge snowstorm like that and have us up here NOT be a part of it! (At least not yet!!!)

I feel like we have been watching winter from afar this year too! We have had lots of below zero temps, but the snow is just not falling here. It has been a great year to build a house in the winter.

Good monring friends....snow just started here....goign to be a long day.

Gail..sounds like a wonderfully special time with your friend. I hope she gets out today.

helenabear...it hasnt stopped snowing yet? Hmm...not looking to good for us then.

loved the pics od larscon...great to put faces with names.

And that house is coming along very nicely, Diane! :)

'Morning, Amid! :)

WOW! Only 6 pairs of pants so far! I thought this looked like an easy on OK! Glad I have mine! I need to wear them when I go to do dogs!

That is too funny Bernie!! Chip, I like that a lot!!! :teeth:

Wow, northern Ohio with less snow than us?? That's pretty funny! I can't wait to get there!

Anyone who wants some snow, let me know. I will be more than hapy to send some your way. Nope, hasn't stopped snowing here yet Vanessa... a light snow right now but it is supposed to continue through the evening. We were just very unlucky. We got hit with two different snow storms. One Friday into Saturday and then we had a break Saturday afternoon and then that evening the second one hit and it hasn't stopped yet. Anyone have a snow blower they want to share with me? :p

Hmm... still haven't really looked at the riddle... I think I ought to do that now :)

This is an original oldkicker riddle today too!

Hopefully everyone is safe and well in the midst of this storm. And also enjoying their day off today. :)

Hi, Guys!

I'm alive but my cable connection wasn't serving.....

It is still snowing heavily here....started around 3pm yesterday afternoon. Wind gusts at 40mph. Snow is really starting to drift and it's not supposed to stop til tonight. We're under a state of emergency and I suspect we'll be that way for another 24/48 hours.

I know it doesn't sound like much to some of my northern and western neighbors, but it's bad for us.

Elaine - I have two snowblowers! Would you believe both of them are on the fritz right now!!!!

What a way to start the week, clueless! Ah well, I will read the posts, what time does a girl have to start here to get on any page lower than 4?????

Good morning riddlers, a lot of you are snowed in (again), and at 5:35 am here, it's 55! I remember presidents day snow in 78 or 79, it was up to my inseam! We walked down to the store to buy milk, strange, the stores were all closed due to snow! Happy shoveling/blowing. I have family outside of DC, I know they wish they were here with me now.

Cute graphic Chip and Bernie! :)

And this is what happens to all of us riddlers when we get too many "IHSEIM" pm's:

Morning, people! I hope the day finds you warm and safe! I know that many of you have a holiday today, so enjoy it whilst you can. Not here in southwestern Ontario, though. I'm off to work in 5...and not a clue in my brain about the riddle. Well, I came up with a few for the firsthalf, but nothing for the second.

We are in for some milder temps for the next day or two and not a flake in sight (oops-snowflake I mean!) Only 31 days until spring!

Good luck on the riddle. I'll check in later! Don't spend the entire day shovelling!!! ;) Bernie, that headspin is me in my class this year. The kids truly keep me spinning from 9-3:30!

Hey, Bern!!! You going grubby today???:p I usually get to comment on the shower curtain before I go "do dogs", but it hasn't appeared yet!

Gina - I've been thinking of you this morning - hoping all was well. Thanks for checking in! :)

Marsha - don't you just with they had really invented transporters, like on Star Trek. Then you could beam your family to you! Or better yet, beam the whole lot of ya' down to Orlando! :)

Debbie - let this one simmer a bit and you'll get it. :) Have fun with the kids and just be sure to keep your head on straight! :)

LOL, Laura! I remember when I first started the riddle - I just didn't feel comfortable saying things like "NO" or "YOU CALL THAT A GUESS!" or "THAT'S NOT IT!", hence IHSEIM came to mind! :) Hopefully it's a kindler, gentler way to say all of the above. ;) :p

Have to brag a bit. DS was here yesterday, and he is still at the top of his class after two semesters. Still an easy 4.0 for him. We were always so dissapointed that he didn't go to college right after high school. This espicially since we had paid for a private high school for him! Looking back, I don't think he was ready then, so maybe this was the right move for him!

LOL!
Well, if I can't comment on the curtain, I will just say, "have a good grubby day"! DH likes to do that every now and then too!

Gotta go "do dogs"! HAve a great day folks!
