Good Morning OK and the Corral
I am at DH's office and using dialup. How quickly we get spoiled by cable. I am posting now and will go back and read the thread. Who knows how long that will take.
Yesterday was a fun day at the parade. I think the kids enjoyed it too. We all got to see the new governor up close.
I let DD drive herself and DS to school today so I wouldn't have to pick them up. [That is why I drove DH to work.] I tried to explain that this was a privilege, not a right.
I think I know this. PM sent. I'll check back in after I finish reading the thread.

I want to be in the chorus. Can you use another alto? Of course, this is after one of those special drinks with the pretty color coordinated umbrella.
We got the last Harry Potter book pre-ordered and delivered the the day it was released. We were at a swim meet and the kids wanted to rush home to get it. One girl had to come late and she had the book and everyone else wanted it. My 2 kids had to share a copy. This summer DS will be at a church trip June 23 - 28 so DD will be able to finish it before he gets home, then he can have it.

Good morning all! Thanks for all of the great birthday wishes! It's so nice to be able to spend my birthday with such a great bunch of friends! I'll be glad when Diane gets back so that we can plan riddlecon so that I can get to meet a bunch of you!

Len sings tenor (I think). He loves to sing. I wonder if there's a place for karaoke at Cedar Point?
Lars I hope that your DH finds something soon. That's so hard when it happens.
Len's Dad is back in the hospital again, After his fall yesterday, they put him back in bed and he started to retain fluid and it pooled around his heart, so they had to take him into the hospital for a catheter. If you could all spare some P&PD for him it would be really great. He's 91 and at that age he's just not bouncing back like he did a couple of years ago when he fell off the ladder.
Well, I have to go. Len's taking me out for breakfast and then I have to go and decorate 2 large birthday cakes for the January "babies" at one of the senior's homes here in town.

Welcome back Rob! Too funny about the laptop, it'll thaw out in a few days Not sure how we stand it but it is a tad warm compared to what I am used to this time of year. We haven't dipped below zero yet this year... close but not yet.
Now that night at Kimonos was one that I would have loved to have been at. Can't recall what I was doing that night but I would have loved to seen you all sing like that!

Good morning y'all!
I'm at home on dial-up helping out with sick children, one of whom was up all night getting sicker. We have washed a few sheets.
Mrs. AlabamaAlan is getting some much needed rest so I'm helping out this morning.
I do (or used to) sing Tenor (2nd Tenor) but I need at least four other guys singing the same part to sound good.
Now the Mrs. on the other hand...she's a first soprano and sings primarily Sandi Patti renditions at area churches. Even though she no longer has the discipline she had when studying voice in college, her performance (ie. pure worship) always leaves 'em in awe.
But while her repitoire is limited to Christian, gospel, etc., I will join in the bawdy/rowdy numbers!
