Darn, I got up too late to get the answer. Welcome love the magic.

Best wishes and prayers for John, Tommy, and the older Oldkicker.

Yesterday I let DD drive DS to band practice. First time I let them out together alone in the car. Soooo, I had to worry about 2 kids, not just one. Then, she was supposed to call me when she got to school, and FORGOT. I called them after worry kicked in. They were fine. Every age has a new concern.

I think I have the first one but the second is alluding me. It sounds so familiar.

I've had the same experiences with the kids. I remember feeling the same anxiety when my DS took both my DD's out for ice cream. Somebody needs to write a parents' handbook for all this stuff!!!

Breezy, I know that feeling well. It takes a while to feel comfortable with both kids off by themselves, even though I know DS (he's almost 19) is a good driver.

Good morning everyone!

It's POETS day! HURRAH! (p*ss on everything, tomorrow is Saturday!) For me this really applies today. Been a heck of a week and I am emotionally and physically drained.

DH has started working in his and DD's computer room... putting in new wood floors, new blinds, fresh paint, and he's changing out the light fixtures. When it is done it will be awesome... but for now... our house is all torn apart again. Hopefully he will move right along on this project.

Sending good wishes and a dose of pixiedust to John, Bernie's dad and Tommy.

glo - You can do it! I feel so much better eating low carb... wouldn't trade it for the old way of eating because nothing tastes good enough to offset the way it all made me feel before.

Hoping all goes well for your dad, Bernie, for Tommy, Marsha and for John. Good luck with the diets and workouts. I have the ortho knee doctor today, possibly to look into a procedure. Enjoy the weekend coming up, hope eveyone stays warm and snow-free (unless you are a skier,snow-boarder).

Always nice to see the riddle gang when I stop in every so often. Love the magic, welcome, a great group of people here (and feel welcome to give me the answer anytime you wish, in a PM, I rarely know the answer, and then usually only a consolation alternate )

We're looking forward to this weekend. We're off to Toronto for one of our "free" weekends. Len gets to go and spend the day on Saturday in a Board meeting and the rest of us get to swim, shop, go to the movies, whatever we want, and then we spend the night at a hotel at the expense of the Board! He also gets paid mileage and a food allowance, so that usually covers the cost of food for us too. Love these weekends, just wish they had one every month instead of just 3 or 4 times a year.
