We don't have Math anxiety in this house.....WE HAVE MATT ANXIETY!

Matt fell on Friday while rollarblading....took him for x-rays on Sunday AFTER swimming 2 swim meets, bowling and a host of other activities.....x-ray showed nothing....so they thought.....

Got a phone call yesterday.....hairline fracture in left hand....5th metacarpel.

Well....long story short....he's in a cast....luckily, it is made with gortex so he can swim and his summer isn't destroyed....


Mommy needs a rest cure.

I got frustrated at about 5:15 and took off. I am in again now, but I have to "do dogs". Maybe tomorrow will be a riddling day for me! I have a low tollerance of net problems!

Gina-I can't believe he was able to do all of those things with a broken bone!! He must have a high pain tolerance level! I hope he heals quickly!! I've never heard of a cast that you can swim with....that's awesome for a kid in the summertime!!

Kim, you ought to meet my Electical Engineer, father, my Systems Engineer brother & his wife who dealt with fiber optics at her past job.... they all LOVE math. My brother even reads math books for fun

Gina, sorry to hear about Matt. I am truly amazed he was able to do all of that w/ a broken bone. Glad that he has a cast that allows him to swim though.
