Riddle me CHAT..It's all JOHN'S FAULT!!!

My BooBoo is sick! She was droopy earlier and when I saw her lying on the couch it was an omen. Right now she has a slight fever but she's probably getting the bug that DS had last week. She absolutely HATES to get sick and when I said she probably had a fever great big tears started. Right now she's snoozing and the guys went to church so it will be quiet for a while here.

I'll try to find some pictures of midi & maxi coats. Think I'll start with Mary Tyler Moore......I loved her too Donna!!!

My little guy is also sick. Sore throat....really, really chapped lips and just generally listless.....

I cleaned my bathroom at around 8 this morning. It was so gross I couldn't stand it with my glasses off. I figured that made it time.....

Aw Gail and Gina, I'm sorry to hear that your kids are sick. Both of mine have been sick this week too. DS missed the whole week at school and DD missed 3 days. He's got a stomach bug of some sort (probably the one i had a few weeks ago ) and DD has a cold (like I'm still getting over ) DH has been complaining about a sore throat, so here comes his!

Fever is over 102 now but she's actually in better spirits than earlier. The guys are home now but it's still pretty quiet on the ranch.

Matt's alive and kicking. No fever yet. I'm more concerned with keeping his lungs clear, though. He's asthmatic and congestion is a disaster.

I shudder when I hear Vicks.........only because my mom tells of when she was a kid....and they'd SWALLOW it!!!!!!!!!!!

Does keep him clear, though. And that's the objective. Luckily, he's never shown any interest in putting it in his mouth!

Sorry about everyone's sick kiddos. Hopefully I won't join that club.

I like Vicks. I put it around my nose when I am congested and it helps clear me up. I think a Vicks Yankee Candle would be a good new scent.

Vicks Yankee Candle....now there's an idea!!! I have Macintosh burning right now but I'm ready for spring scents.

Maybe we should suggest eating Vicks for a new stunt on Survivor or Fear Factor????

Evening all! I am home and had a great time!!! As always sat around and talked and talked (and took pictures). This was my frist NE Ohio meet and I was glad to meet a few that I hadn't before. I honestly haven't even looked at the pictures yet, but maybe late tonight or early tomorrow they will be up

I guess I'd better get out the Vicks for my DS. He's slightly asthmatic too, and he's been complaining about his lungs hurting tonight. Even his puffer isn't helping for very long.

DS's hockey team won today's game 5-0
One more game to win tomorrow at noon before advancing to the finals Keep your fingers crossed for Matt & the rest of the Lightening team
After returning from the game I went to the mall with a girlfriend & had dinner at Max & Erma's and shopped for a few hours with no kids and no DHs. It was wonderful Great deals at JC Penney & Marshall Fields tonight!

Baboo-What Nora Roberts trilogy were you reading? I enjoy her books too. My favorite series was Riding Tides, Inner Harbor, Sea Swept & Chesapeake Blue. Have you read them??

When my Matt was little I would rub it on his chest when he was sick (he & I are both asthmatics) and he called it 'Mommy's Magic Stuff' awwwww

My sick chick has crashed on my bed....so I'll let her sleep there for a while.

I'm glad to hear nobody else eats Vicks like my mom did when she was a kid -yuck!

I am excited however......there's finally a meet we can attend.....Glo-Con on the Cape! It's not until Labor Day weekend and I certainly don't want to wish away the summer but I'm looking forward to finally meeting some folks. Even OK himself may be in attendance.

Surely some of you lovely folk would like to come too!!!

I know that I won't be able to make the meet at Glo's. That is just too far of a drive for me to make Also 75% of the time Luis' parents visit then for his birthday (his b-day is in the 1st half of Sept). I wish though.

Sorry to hear about all the little ones not feeling well....I an't WAIT for this winter to be over!!! I'm a big Vicks lover as well, but I CAN'T say I've ever eaten any....although, based on our recent trip down the "junk food" lane of our collective childhoods, I believe that VICKS may have been the ONLY thing I didn't eat!!!!

I'll probably be hitting the hay a bit earlier tonight....getting ready for a day in the big city tomorrow....MAMMA MIA (glad the musicians won't be voting on the strike until midnight tomorrow....hey....maybe OUR band could come in handy here!) and BENNIHANA!!!!

I'll be sure to check out the spandex and go-go boots for any further brainstorming moments in the "riddles" to come!
