Reusable Mug Question....

I just read the post from "26555" about the mugs and now I have a question... I purchased one of those mugs in 2003 when I stayed at CBR. Can I STILL use that mug when I got to ASMo in July? Is it re-usable FOREVER? That's kind of what I got from reading that thread....did I just read wrong?

The official policy is that a mug is refillable only at the resort and and in the trip in which it was purchased. Many people were told by Cast Members "way back when" that their resort mug was refillable forever at that resort. Even if that is true in your case, you may not use your CBR mug at the All-Stars.

Refillable only at place of purchase


Have you looked at your mug to see if it says something like this?

I have two from our last trip in 2004, it say's the same thing on them.

I just got back from Disney and I saw lots of diffrent mugs from other resorts. (I stayed at All Star Sports) and none of the cast members told them they could not use them. Although I know from staying at Pop Century, French Quarters and All Star Sports and having a couple of mugs from all these resorts taht they are only good for that specific resort and for your stay.

ETA: Some people will always cheat the system. They will use a mug from another resort, a clearly marked mug from another trip or even an empty Big Gulp. {{shug}} Just because the CMs don't confront people with other resort mugs does not mean that it is OK to use them.

Geez, I hope not. I think actually saying what is on the mug should end the need for more discussion.

I'm sure the OP's question has been answered.

Thank you Lisa for inquiring about the refillable mug that you purchased 2 years ago. My suggestion is to ask the cashier at the ASMO if you can use your CBR mug there. Technically... the mugs are only good for the resort you are staying at and good for the length of stay.

I hope all these answers that we have provided you helped. It is your choice to make.
