Thanks we did have a great time, though it is nice to be back!! the boys got throughly spoilt by there grandparents and I managed to have a couple of late nights out meeting with old friends which was fantastic.

Dh also had a good time, he says florida was horribly hot, he spent an afternoon at dtd (though dsaid it wasnt as enjoyable without me!!) the company took them one night out to citywalk and another night at a bowling alley!!! I got a nice little present so i cant complain too much.

Very little is happening disney planning wise everything is in place that needs to be at the moment so its just a case of crossing the days off the calender.

Unfortunatley they arent playing in london they are playing in sweden this year, dh missed lasts years game as he was away with work (again!!)

Yes i have a new ticker, thats because i am officially going to disney world twice in the next 12 months!!! I know i have said about us going next year for a while but its only now that we have managed to get everything booked deposits paid etc, so only now i have got a ticker.

Everything is now booked for next year, flying out the 25th May for two weeks staying at the beach club , this means that ds2 will celebrate his 2nd birthday whilst we are there, will his big brother will have had 2 birthdays at wdw and wre didnt want him missing out.

We are confirmed as going with dh's parents and my parents,and they are just as excited as we are, my mum is particulary excited about the fact you can walk to epcot, as apparently they have some great wine there!!

It means that when i have to leave wdw after the first trip i wont get so down as i know i will be coming back.


As far as planning for the November trip well there is not a lot to say. More or less everything is booked or ordered. If im honest i have even looked at my trip planner the last week or two as i have been so busy at home and work, hence the horrendous lack of updates.

Next month continues to be busy for us, we are spending a few days down in kent at my parents, and then the bank holiday weekend down in devon, hoping the gloriuos weather we have had in the UK continues so we can spend lot sof time at the beach. Between this Dh is also away again for another week this time to Vienna, so august should go pretty quickly for us, and we will be another month closer to wdw!

well i have been so bad at keeping this up to date (slaps wrist)

so we have 62 days and counting until i will be in wdw!!!

so after taking a bit of a break from planning and organising it is full steam ahead again. This month is also a busy one for us (when isnt it lately) dh is away at the moment and will be for the rest of the week in Milan. we then have to go look at schools as eldest ds wiil start next year and also nurseries for youngest ds to go too. I also have to fit in going to work. The weather in the UK has just been miserable, august was the wettest on record and september looks like it will be the same. I am just soo ready for a bit of florida sunshine.....

so with regards to the trip was had happened??

well we are now fully paid off, the balance was cleared last week so there is nothing stopping us now. our annual travel insurance has also been renewed and we are being very good with our budget to save as much spending money as possibel (espeically as the pound isnt as strong against the dollar at the moment as it has been!)

I have been putting my intinarary onto the computer all ready to print out. I brought myslef a little folder to put it in and decorated it!! I have also been putting the c/s menus for each park onto index cards. It means we can see what each place has to eat espeically for the boys instead of having to wander around trying to find something appropiate, we will know in advance.

I have also been getting creative with ideas for making my own tshirts for us all to wear on ds's birthday, and i have made countdown calender which i am very happy with. Each day ds gets to choose a sticker (all of which i made) to put over a number and once all the stickers are used we will be going to wdw!!!!

I have taken pictures but we have brought a new camera (a fab little sony) the old one had been dropped a few too many times and was starting to show the effects, so i am just trying to download all the software onto my laptop so i will share them with you later.


You could say i have started putting things aside ready for the trip as well, I have a rucksack with ponchos, the mickey light up toys from last year (which are coming back so i dont have to fork out for them again) Little toys that i have brough to keep the boys entertained on the flight and also the sunscreen, tolietries etc that i have been adding to my weekly shop. The suitcases are still in the loft though and dh says they have to stay there till the end of oct



so thats where we are at I am sat waiting for the postman to arrive with my 2009 unofficial guide that ill be my bedtime reading for the week.

i will post my tshirt designs later. but i wanted to show you this, these are our disney fish. we have 3 at the moment called nemo, dory and mater (unfortunatley Lightening didnt make it)!! ds picked the names and i think he has followed in he disney mould (if a little pixar orientated!!)

so these are my attempts at being creative and trying to make us some tshirts. So far i have only printed the designs onto paper and pinned them onto the t-shirts to see how hey will look, hoping to be brave enough to put them on the transfer paper and iron onto the tshirt soon!!!

this is the front of eldest ds's tshirt

and the back, I am planning to put the number 4 (how old he will be) on he space in the middle a bit like on a football shirt.

this is for youngest ds, it so suits him as he is such a strong little man (excuse the creases, he decided to show his approval by scrunching it up into a ball!!)

and for me it couldnt be anyone else but tinkerbell,

for my first time at doing something like this im pretty happy with how they look so far.

other than that DH comes home tonight I never sleep well when he away so im hoping to catch up on my zzzzzz's tonight. I better do as i have to work all over the weekend and labour ward has been so busy lately. oh well i see it as spending money for disney and that gets me through (and every penny counts seeing as the £ has slipped further against the $ today )

the disney logo came from a disney clipart website. Mine the tinkerbell came from another clipart site, the saying i found whilst looking for disney quotes, i put it all together using paint and wordart, took a while to come together but i love it.
