Returning to the Magic for birthday fun -

Congratulations to your sister, :bride::love: I know you will have fun helping her to plan the wedding. You need to start a Wedding Binder for her.

:goodvibes thank you for your good wishes. I am so happy for her, last year was a really horrid year for her, but things are on the up. I loved planning my own wedding so am looking forward to gettign involved. I think wedding binder would be great fun

Brilliant pictures :) Fab!!!

WOuld love to see piccies of your binder too.

I can't wait to see the pix.....

And about Hawaii...that certainly isn't a bad way to spend 3 weeks......:thumbsup2

Have spoken to them, they are having a fab time, it was my mums 50th out there as well so we aksed the hotel to organise some flowers etc for her, apparently she got a mini garden delivery which took up a table!!

Brilliant pictures :) Fab!!!

WOuld love to see piccies of your binder too.

The binder picture will come soon, just have to find the lead for the camera, probably hidden in one of the boys rooms, I am sure they have magpie in their blood.

well today is the magical 180 day mark which means I was able to make the first 10days worth of dining reservations :cool1:

whay does this day get as all excited?? I suppose by having things confirmed it makes the trip feel that bit closer.

So at about 12:10 GMT I made my call and got a lovely CM called Linda, who managed to get me everything i wanted at the times i wanted, cant get better than that!

so we have

Lunch at Tonys,

Lunch at coral Reef, now just have to email to sort out the dver and menu for Ds1's birthday.

Breakfast at CP, before the park opens so hoping to get some of those picture sof an empty main st.

Fantasmic dinner package at Hollywood and VIne, ds1 loved fantasmic last yr but hated the sitting around for an hr beforehand just so we could have a good seat. This should elimate al the waiting for him. This is the only reservation that needed a CC number.

Dinner at WCC, looks like fun and the food seems to get good reviews,

Dinner at the Plaza on MVMCP night, got a 4:30 reservation time which means we can have something relaxed to eat before enjoying the party.

Breakfast at Tuskers House again early before the park opens, hopefully we can eat and then as the park opens hop onto the safari before everyone else :thumbsup2 !!

Im so pleased with this hopefully i get the same good luck with the last couple of reservations which i can make monday.

still waiting on the Nov park hours to be posted, but i have worked my dinning plans so that changes in hours and emh shouldnt effect us too much....

( I Hope....)

Your dining reservations sound great. I am happy for you, that you got every thing you wanted.

Making ADR is one of the things that makes the trip seem more real.

....... after making my adrs the other day and getting what i wanted, my next job was to organise extras for ds's birthday.

This included hoping to get a diver and the personliased menus arranged for him at the coral reef, so almost as soon as i got off the phone i drafter and sent an email to Debbie to get this sorted........

......and she replied today saying that it was all in place :cool1:  now i just have to sort out half a dozen photos of him for her to put together for his menu.

Im so pleased i was able to get this done, so thats another thing ticked off the list.

I still have a few adrs to make, but have to wait till next week for their 180 day mark as i can only make +10 and couldnt add on the other 4 days despite what the 1st cm had told me. oh well doesnt matter.

away from disney news, we are off to alton towers (UK theme park as close to disney as we will ever get!!) for a few days the first week of June, got such a good deal we couldnt say no B & B for less than £60 a night!! plus dh is working away so much over the summer we though it would be good to spend some time as a family.

What a great pre trip report!
Your sons are adorable. I love all the pictures you've posted.
I am a serious anglophile. I have always wanted to go to England ever since I can remember. I used to get any book I could find about England from the library from the time I was in 1st grade.
Did you find a new home? I watch BBC america all the time, but they don't show the one you mentioned unless it goes by a different name here. Are Phil Spencer & Kirstie Allsopp the hosts?
I can't wait to read more.
Lisa

Have a fab time at AT :)

:goodvibes welcome and thanks for reading. We have found a home we like but unfortunatley the british housing market has gound to a halt so we haent been able to seel ours yet :worried:

the show is presented by a varierty of different hosts, its a different show to the one presented by phil and Kirstie but the same kind of programme. It still hasnt been shown on telly yet but hopefully wont be long!!

well i finally made th elast of my adrs today and have already changed a previouslly made one!!!:rotfl:

it was all dh's fault though, i knew i shouldnt let him look at the menus.

we are now having dinner at 1900 park fare instead of the WCC, we have also booked a breakfast at 1900 as well ds loves mary Poppins as do I cant wait to see if she can say supercalifragilistic backwards!! Spoodles for breakfast has also been added we just wanted to know whether you needed to make an adr here but the cm said well lets just make you one just in case

for our last night we have also made a reservation at the beirgarten, the last 2 trips we have eaten at the rose and crown on the last night but last year found the food to be pretty awful so trying something different.

so thats it no more looking at menus, im pretty happy with what we have booked and i think the boys are really going to enjoy them.

I will post soon with an updated itinary taking into account all adrs, though with no park hours still :furious: obviously things are still subject to change.

that is SO cool about being on tv.
sorry about not being able to sell your home though.
I meant to ask you, how many babies have you delivered? it must be a very rewarding job. the hours must stink, but rewarding.

it was so much fun filmi g the programme just hope i dont look like an idiot!!

How many babied have i delivered? thats a tough one probably at least over 500, though i actually stopped counting at 100!! I do love my job, yeah the hours can be pretty tough, but i cant think of a more precious moment to be allowed to witness. I wouldnt want to do anything else.

so now all adrs are made, my days ar emore or less finalised unless the still to be released park hours decide to throw a complete spanner in the works. Im sorry if a lot of this has been repeated beofre but even with 5months to our trip its hard to keep finding new things to say!:confused3

so we still leave on the 10th nov hopefully on time (hey i can always dream) and then pick up our now upgraded car. :cool1:

obviously check in at the swan and then grab a bite to eat before grabbing an early night as if the boys do what they did last year they will be awake and ready to go by 4 am!!

tues, morning at magic kingdom with lunch at Tonys, after lunch head back to hotel for a nap and then a swim before getting lost finding the nearest Publix (I dont do walmart) to stock up on groceries.

Weds we go to DHS no adrs this day so we will just go with the swing of things and see how the boys are coping.

Thurs: epcot, lunch at the coral reef where i have arranged the diver and menu for ds. afternoon will probably head back to hotel for swim nap and then to dtd to let ds pick some birthday presents and grab some dinner.

Fri: DS's Birthday :yay: Breakfast at the CP before park opening, spend a few hours at MK beofr heading back to the hotel. Then late afternoon we will head over to DHS for dinner at H&V as part of the fantasmuc package. Ds loved this show last year just not the waiting around before hand.

Sat: Off property to seaworld, we really enjoy it here and for a us a trip isnt complete without a day here to see shmu.

sun:Breakfast at tuskers house again before park opening early breakfats and dinners suit us both our boys are laways up before 7am whether at home or on holiday so no point sitting around the hotel. Thee rest of the day will then be spent in AK.

Mon: this is more of a chill out day nothing planned we will just see how we feel probably spend the morning swimming or may head to one of the malls for some retail therapy!! dh wants to go to spoodles for breakfast this day he has seen something he likes on the menu!! Evening we will probably walk over to epcot and do the WS.

Tues: MK all day this is also Mickeys 80th birthday so hopefully wdw decide to hold a little celebration.:) we have an early Dinner booked at 1900 park fare. so if my timings are right we should be able to go to dinner after the parade and get back in time for spectromagic!!

Weds: We are off to aquatica, I know this has had some mixed reviews but we want to try it for ourselves. we are also going to splash out for a private caban allowing somewhere foe the boys to come out of the sun when needed.

Thurs: epcot in the morning then a swim/nap at the hotel after lunch befor eheading to MK for the MVMCP. we have an early dinner reservation at the Plaza, so we can eat and hopefully be sat on the patio for the early showing of wishes.

Fri: Morning at the moment is dedicated to AK incase there is anything we missed which we want to go back and see, afternoon is booked for shopping!!

Sat:Breakfast adr at 1900 park fare then off the Mk for a few hours before heading back to the hotel the afternoon/evening will probably be at dhs.

Sun: our last full day :( breakfast is at the graden grill character buffet at the swan befor heading to epcot (its tradition we always spend our last day at epcot) we have a dinner reservation then for the biergarten, we will then watch illuminations before a very slow sad saunter back to the hotel.

Mon: Leaving day. head to dtd to do virgins checkin (an absolute godsend we find) we will then maybe head to a park depending on what we feel we have missed. we will then stop at the malls on the way up to the airport, including persuading dh to add to my tiffany charm collection ::yes:: :rotfl:

I dont think i have overplanned there is quite some flexibility in the above obviously depending on the changin needs of the boys.

So that will be my last update for a week as we are heading off to Alton towers next week and then next friday my little baby is turning 1  where did the last year go. saturday all the family are descending on us for his little birthday party.

This was him at an hour old

:bounce: Happy Birthday to your DS :bounce:

:goodvibes :goodvibes thanks we have had a great week.

AT was fantastic. Some of the bigg rides there are just awesome, I took a few photos :rolleyes1 and will do a mini trip report/comparison of At to disney, seeing as AT is the closest thing to wdw we have on english soil, and that means it wouldnt be off topic right!!??

ds also had a lovely birthday after getting back from AT late friday we then had a big family birthday party for him yesterday. he off course got spoilt and een had 3 birthday cakes :scared1:

as all the family were arounf yesterday we also came to a decision about our tripo next year with my parents and the inlaws, everyone wants to stay at the yacht and beach club :cool1:  My sis and her fiance are also hoping to come out and stay for a week but at ne of the value resorts due to needing to save money for their wedding,

I have also been nicknamed colonel Kernutt, due to my love of planning and keeping things organised!!!!

What fun planning two trips at one time. The Beach Club is a fun place to stay. The boys will love the pool.:cool1:  If your sister stays value you will need to take the boys over to see the big icons.

its great fun have been gettin glots of qoutes, though for some reason disney Uk is 50% cheaper than disney in the US?? :confused3 I owuld have thought the Us would have been cheaper especially with the exchange rate. IT really does look like disney are giving the UK the better deals at the moment!
