Returning Park Merch From Home

Just came back from a wonderful trip although it was quite chilly the majority of the time in WDW.

Anyway..

It was a chilly night and we were at the MK and I purchased a sweatshirt that I absolutely love and wore it that night.
I got home and did my laundry and washed the sweatshirt exactly like the directions said. It came out of the wash, and some of the design/ application on the back is missing. I was wondering if I would be able to return it to the park via mail and exchange for a new one. I don't know if they'd let me because I don't have the tag and obviously it was worn once, but reguardless this shouldn't have happened. I'm super upset:sad2: because it's special and still has the hat on it. Has this happened to anyone and if so, were you successful in exchanging/returning...?

I bought a mug and when I washed it the entire design washed off! I called the merchandise number printed on the receipt and they sent me a new mug. The lady said there was some issue with the mugs and they had changed manufacturers, so mine was a known design flaw. I still had the receipt for the item, so I was able to give them all of the info, SKU#, etc. I am sure if you call they will be able to help.
 
TY! I called the number and talked to them. They're going to send me a new sweatshirt all I need to do is email them the pictures of the damage.

This, but I didn't have a receipt. I did purchase using my MagicBand so they found the purchase. I took a pic of the mug and sent it with my request. The rep was very thankful for the pic.

Same thing is happening to my Peter Pan coffee mug. I may take it with me in April. Problem is, I can't remember if I bought it @ WDW or the local Disney store.
