Returning car to national car rental on site

We are renting a car from National for 24 hrs upon arrival at Orlando International
Planning to return to the agency which has a site on DW property.
I am told its by the car care center and they will give you a ride back to your hotel.
Has anyone done this before? Do I need to make a reservation for the shuttle before or do we just drop it off and they will bring us back with out to much time wasted?

In 2007 we stayed at POR. I rented my vehicle from Alamo at the CCC near the Magic Kingdom. National operates out of the same building (same company owns both outfits). When I returned the van, they gave me a ride back to POR. I did not phone ahead, just returned the van. Didn't wait at all. As soon as the vehicle was handed over, the shuttle to the hotel was ready for me. I dropped off the vehicle at about 8 a.m. and was back at the hotel by 8:30.

Tip...it is quieter and service is faster at the CCC early in the morning. It gets busier as the day goes on.
