Returning a car on Disney property

I just checked airfare for our upcoming trip and it has gone up!! I am now looking at flying down a day earlier and renting a car at the airport. I know somewhere on Disney property you can rent cars so I am thinking you could return them as well. Anyone have any experience with this?

Where would I return it and what company is based on property? I am thinking it would be a 24 hour rental.

We've done this several times. Just about all the major rental companies have locations on Disney property. We've used Avis who's WDW office is in the Hilton across the street from DTD.

National and Alamo are at the Car Care Center near the MK, Dolphin and SOG. The rest of the major rental companies are in the hotels across from DTD.
