Returning - 10 years later

it has been UGH ten years since our last trip. So much has changed. We have ALWAYS visited in September but this trip we must do the last week of May/first week of June. How bad are the crowds and lines going to be??

Pretty bad. I am sure you will still ahve a great time if its been 10 years, but the lines/crowds are going to be bad.

I went during the first week of June in 2014. It was busy, to be sure, but we had no trouble at all as long as we went to rope drop in the morning. It was especially nice at MK: we watched the opening show, then went left to Frontierland. That side of the park was empty until 10 AM.

There was a time when you could go to WDW in the "off-season" (of which May/June never has been and never will be a part) and basically have the place to yourselves. Those days are long gone.

That's my favorite time to go! The crowds are very manageable and the weather is gorgeous! I would definitely take it over September.
