Rethinking my plan

originally my plan was to do the following"

10/8 AK the day we arrive this would be from like 12 noon to closing.

10/9 was going to be a MK all day and MNSSHP at night....I am now thinking of doing DTD in the morning until around 1pm..go back to the hotel, maybe take a quick nap and hit MK at 4pm****this was originally all day at MK and then back at night for the party****

10/10 DHS and the Fantasmic show....? is this is DHS an all day/night park

10/11 Epcot

10/12 MK all day this is our last day

I would go to MK instead of DTD...MK isn't usually too crowded on the mornings of the parties b/c people go elsewhere due to the park closing at 7. Last year we went to the park, went back for a nap, then came back around 4-5 and stayed as late as we could we were underwhelmed by DTD and if it were me I wouldn't waste time going there on a short trip.

I agree, the mornings at MK on party days are usually pretty good, relatively speaking for MK. Might be a good morning for that.

DHS varies as to how long of a day it takes...it depends on the shows you want to see and how you schedule those in.

I'm not a fan of Downtown Disney. The only reason I'll be planning on it during our next trip is because DH wants to go to the Lego Store. I wouldn't hesitate to do MK or another park in the morning, then a long break in the afternoon for the party.
