Restrictions on over the door hangers?

I am ALMOST ready to go on my first cruise (AHHHHHHHHH) so I've been scouring the boards looking for tips and fun info. I was all ready with my over the door clear shoe organizer for the bathroom. My girlfriend just got back from the Disney Dream on the exact cruise I will be taking in just a couple of weeks and said that they are really cracking down on ALL the "door activities". She said that they are "highly discouraging" magnets (she didn't have any so she didn't really have more info on that) as it is ruining some of the doors, and if anyone has an over the door shoe organizer and the top of the door is found to be scratched from it, there is an automatic 100 dollar fine. Has anyone else heard this?

The problem with the magnets is that too many people have used stickers and other adhesives and ruined the door finish, so DCL has to keep painting the doors and a lot of magnets no longer stick because of the layers of paint on the metal doors. They aren't cracking down on magnets themselves, just the stickers that won't allow the magnets to stick.
