We are going to disney the first week of September and we purchased the DDP. We are going to all the parks and going to MK and Epcot twice. What is your favorite restaurant on the dining plan

Thanks

We've only been to WDW once (5 years ago), but our absolute favorite was Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Resort. For Epcot, we really enjoyed Teppan Edo. Very entertaining and the food was delicious! We did Crystal Palace at MK, mostly because we wanted to meet Pooh and the Gang, but the buffet was pretty good too. For quick service, we LOVED Flame Tree BBQ at AK.

During our upcoming trip, we will be going to many restaurants we haven't tried before. Among these, we are especially looking forward to BOG for dinner (MK) and 50's PTC (DHS). Both have mixed reviews (though mostly favorable), but we're wanting to experience them for ourselves.

We go every year with our children and I have to say my favorite at MK is BOG the atmosphere is wonderful and the food was fantastic. at Hollywood studios my favorite is Sci Fi Dine in watching the old movies or commercials is great while eating, and at Animal Kingdom I have 2 one is The Flame Tree BBQ this is quick service but they are great and the other is Rain Forest Cafe and finally Epcot I love having breakfast with the princesses at Akershus the food is great and the atmosphere is great.

Everyone has their favorites! What seems great for one is disliked by another. I don't find any of the Disney table service restaurants bad. Just some better than others.

Our must do's every trip are Ohana, Coral Reef, San Angel, The Wave, Kona Cafe and Boma. Ohana is the most difficult to get.
Be Our guest for breakfast or lunch is excellent, especially the atmosphere. Dinner is good as well. But it is VERY popular and hard to get.
For quick service, Sunshine Seasons (Epcot), Tangerine Cafe (Epcot), Flame Tree BBQ (Animal Kingdom), Wolfgang Puck Express (Disney Springs)

Our next trip we're trying a few new ones recommended including Yak & Yeti (Animal Kingdom)

We skip Rainforest Cafe as we have one local. While it is good I prefer restaurants that are unique to Disney. However, if you have kids they might enjoy Rainforest.

Since your are heading there in September you may find it difficult to get a reservation for the more popular restaurants as many already booked. So book yours ASAP!!

Some of our favorites:

Epcot area: Cape May (seriously, a 5 minute walk from international drive), Coral Reef, La Cellier (counts as 2 credits though.)
MK: Be Our Guest. (TOUGH to get, but place the ADR first thing, for your last day)
Animal Kingdom: Tusker House breakfast, Yak and Yetti lunch

First of all, yay for your trip! Are you getting excited??
Here are my family's favorites.
MK - in park: Be Our Guest, Crystal Palace.
Nearby resort -- If we're headed to MK for the day, we like breakfast at Whispering Canyon. We also like to head over to The Wave after the park.
Epcot - in park: Biergarten, Yorkshire County Fish.
Nearby resort- Kona is my daughter's absolute favorite!! Hubby likes 'Ohana.
HS - we don't like anything in park. We usually go to Cape May Cafe after our HS day.
AK - in park: Yak & Yeti

^^ Just to clarify, both Kona and 'Ohana are in the Polynesian, off the Magic Kingdom monorail.

And Cape May is readily accessible from either HS or Epcot-- it's a very short walk from International Gateway in Epcot.
