Any suggestions? Casual or upscale, cheap or expensive, just looking for GOOD EATS!!! Any help is welcome and appreciated!!

On our first trip a few weeks ago we ate at Capt Hiram's which we enjoyed very much. Great fried scallops and a very fresh salad. For our anniversary dinner we ate at the Ocean Grill. We went before sunset and enjoyed a window seat overlooking the ocean. The food was great (I had the Crab Au Gratina and it was outstanding) and the service was terrific. We also ate at Squid Lips, which was good. It was very crowded and I though noisy, but I would go back.
We also ate at Shutters and the Green Cabin room at the resort and enjoyed both.
Enjoy Vero Beach - we had a great week.

Agreeing with the above, out favorites are Squid Lips, Captain Hirams, Mulligans and Riverside Cafe (in Vero under the 60 bridge). All are on the water and have good food. Good news! Mulligans is opening a new restaurant right in Sebastian on the same road as Captain Hirams and Squid Lips, and even closer to the Resort. It is scheduled to open the beginning of December.

We just returned and Ocean Grill was fantastic. Ended up going twice, once on Halloween and the next evening.

We also had lunch at the Tiki bar in Fort Pierce. Very good fish tacos.

A couple years ago we had a great dinner at Mo-Bay Grill in Sebastian (near Walmart). Jamaican inspired food, great service in a strip mall.

And it's owned by the same folks who own the Ocean Grill.
We tried El Toro and thought it was very good. That said, the menu is mostly gourmet tacos.

True on all 3 counts, I will say that the Wild Mushroom and Truffle Empanadas (appetizer) was especially outstanding.

We went to Mulligans twice during our stay! We also did the seafood buffet at VB. DH and I both preferred Mulligans. If you go, you MUST have the key lime pie. It is the best!

Oh brother... I guess I need to qualify everything I write with "IMO".

Yes, IMO the Ocean Grill is one of the best restaurants anywhere.
