Restaurant reviews and recipes...formerly Disney QOTD

Welcome home Nancy, sorry to hear Dave was sick, hope he is feeling better soon.

The Wave - Contemporary right?

We had breakfast there twice last Nov. and we like it.

He is feeling a bit better. didn't help he had to be at work at 7 (45 minute drive) today and leaves on a 7 am flight on Sunday

::yes:: Contemporary.

Hope Dave is doing better today.

Yeah -- the Wave.... mmmm... two lackluster lunches. The second a real disappoint. (Right before BLT opened.) No hurry to return.
Maybe would try breakfast. However there are other places I would eat breakfast at before The Wave.
Now, if someone wants to BUY me a meal there, I will go. :rotfl2:

Ate lunch there for the first (and so far only) time during ESPN Weekend. DH really liked it. And surprisingly I like it too. (Not a sports fan, and avoid sports themed restaurants with TVs everywhere.)
Would return again. :thumbsup2

Thanks, Trish.

We have eaten at several of them a few times.
(Not the one on the Boardwalk though....but at DtD DLR). We like it. The food is pretty good.

Haven't eaten there.

ps I'm ready to make our ADRs on Monday, and loved learning about some new places from you all! Thanks!!

Where are you going to try, Lynne?

DLR side note.....we dined at Napa Rpse (thankfully before Dave got sick). It was amazing (with a price tag to match  ...but we will be doing it again).

Where are you going to try, Lynne?

I know Fairfax Faire was one that got raves and I couldn't believe I DH14 hadn't found it if it had ribs! :lmao: 50's Prime Time..we haven't been there in quite a while. I started going back through the posts because I remember there were other CSs that sounded really good. Tutta Italia, too. We get so stuck in eating at the same places.

:offtopic: While looking thru the old posts, I found the ones about suicide. I think I mentioned back then about the family on our block who's son committed suicide. His sister has started a group at school that DH13 is involved in. They're trying to raise the awareness about the warning signs of depression and lessen the stigma attached to it, in hopes of preventing teen suicides. It's gotten national attention and awards and they're currently #12 in a contest Pepsi has to get $50K in grant money to start new groups in schools around the nation. (top 10 will win). I'm really proud of them. If anyone's willing to vote for them, PM me and I'll give you the web address.

Pepper Market -- have eaten there many times... Both OOP and as a quick service dine option. And breakfast, lunch and dinner. :rotfl2:
At least it is a decent counter service offer. Although I can't say they are anything to brag about. Their pasta is very bland. Ate it once, and would not again.
At least at some stations the food does not sit around as much.
Last time we were in it was changed around a bit too.
And we have not eaten there probably since sometime last Fall.
We stayed at CSR last November. Can't reall if we ate there or not.... :confused3
