Restaurant .com Deal (good through 8/17/14)

I don't know how long it's been going on, but restaurant .com has a deal where you get 3 e-vouchers ($25, $50 and $100) for $35. Plus, if you go through ebates, you get up to 10% back. My rebate was 51¢. Normally, a $100 GC costs $40, so you're ahead of the game right there! There are a number of restaurants in the Disney area that participate (sadly, none of the Disney restaurants do - with the exception of HOB). Plus all of the normal rules of using restaurant .com GCs apply.

Still, it's a good deal if you use them. The voucher amount does not need to be completely used at one time, so you can break a $100 voucher down into 2 $50 vouchers or even 4 $25 vouchers.

About 4-5 years ago when the economy was bad was when they really had good deals and much better restaurants available.I stocked up as they would have $25 ones for $1 and $50 for $2.I probably bought about 20+ during this period and back then they used to expire a year from when you bought them,luckily they changed that policy and there were some that had expired but I noticed them still showing in my account so I printed them and they then showed as not expiring.I haven't bought any more since then as the deals are not as good,the restaurants available are not as good and I still have like 8-9 left to use.Some restaurants stop accepting them and you have to choose new ones to exchange them,I have some that I exchanged and didn't like the restaurant so I just keep checking if something good comes up. I also have Il Mulino and Bluezoo certificates at the Swan and Dolphin,I don't think they sell them anymore but still accept them,I just haven't used them yet,I did use one for Garden Grove.I've also used a couple of them at House of Blues at DTD over the years,I don't have one left for it though.

Correct me if I am wrong, but if you sign up with the site, won't they email you if they have a good deal?

Sometimes I look to Groupon or Living Socials for good eating places. Just type in the area you want and you will get tons of it in your email.
