Restaurant Choices

DH and I were as WDW in Jan 2004 and will be returning in Jan 2005.

I planned the last trip and did all the "choosing" this time it is DH's turn. I gave him the Unofficial Guide and Passporter to read, plus what he noticed from last trip.

And he has narrowed it down to a couple of choices...

Artists Point and the Yachtsmans Steakhouse.

Which would you choose? We are keeping to a budget (somewhat) so can only eat at one.

We will also be eating at Boma for dinner, Kona Cafe for breakfast and Hoop Dee Doo Revue. And we will be getting Cheese Soup and Pretzel Bread as takeout to eat while we watch illuminations.

Everything else will be counter meal or offsite.

Personally I would pick Yachtsmans Steakhouse. More good old fashioned meat and potatoes which is what I like. I suggest you check out the menus and see which has meals that appeal to you.

Please check the menus at www.allearsnet.com Artist Pointe is indeed at bit more exotic than LeCellier. With my group, AP would never do

Ok I cast my vote for Artist Point, I am not a picky or overly adventurous eater. Have loved both meals I have had there.I think AP has wonderful servers and great views. And if you are not staying at WL it is a great way to check it out. check out the menus To help decide.

I agree that looking at the menus will help with your decision. Personally, the overall menu at AP is a bit exotic for my family. I knew that going in but since we were staying at WL that trip I wanted to experience it and we tried it and didn't care for it but that was due in majority to lack of service therefor getting cold food, long wait to get anything etc. Also that was a few years ago and since I're read raves about the service. I hear the salmon is good but we're just not salmon eaters. We have always enjoyed the Yachtsman Steakhouse. The service, atmosphere, and the food. The YS would be my choice. Just my opinion.
