Hey everyone,

Well, we're closing in a few days on our resale and can't wait to make ressie. I have a question though. We would like to stay 4 night at OKW (our home) and four nights at BWV's. What should I do? Book 8 nights at OKW in the 11 month window and wait until the seven month window to see if I can get 4 nights at BWV. If I get BWV, then I cancel 4 nights at OKW. Can I do this? Is there a penalty to do this?

This is what we do when we want to stay somewhere other than our home resort - I would ask if you need to make two sets of reservations for OKW when you talk to reservations. It might be easier to cancel a reservation for only four nights and then reschedule those nights at BWV -

we have split between OKW and BWV a few times - they are great about moving luggage!

Congratulations and welcome home!

Yes, that's a good idea. If BWV isn't available or if you have to waitlist, you'll have a back up in place. Many of us use this method to book - especially those of us who have to book airfare in advance and need to know we'll have a DVC room somewhere.

NO!

Best wishes -
