Great review of Teppan Edo. The last (and only) time we went I wasn't feeling well and have never gone back.
Since we have many DIS friends that love it we will be giving it another try but will wait until we can join up with another family. I'm not keen on taking a chance on sitting with some unknown group.....

I'm glad you were able to see the rope drop show. It's quite cute! Everyone always posts such delicious looking pictures from the Main Street Bakery. We are definitely stopping there next trip.

Wow! I got behind. I had 2 updates to read!

Tutto sounds so good. I will be eating there next time. Your desserts look great. I love tiramisu, so I could have easily made a choice there.

Everything at Main Street Bakery looked wonderful. Nothing like sugary junk food at Disney! DD loves it because I let her eat whatever she wants when we are there. That rarely happens at home. We have never eaten there either but I'm putting it on my list for next time.

The Speedway! It really does make you nervous about them turning 16 doesn't it?!

Can't wait to hear about your secret surprise. Shame on you for dangling a carrot in front of us like that!

I haven't been to Tutto since it was Alfredo's and everyone says it's soooo good...well except for my one friend that I recommended to go there....her husbands parents are from Italy and he thought his mother's cooking was better....I don't trust him though

I realized today after you posted on my PTR that I hadn't gotten any notifications about updates on your TR. I came and checked and somehow got unsubscribed. It's weird how I have seen that happening to some folks around the boards lately. Guess it's just one of those things.

Anywho, I just got all caught up!! I love all your pictures and your girls are just adorable! It looks like you guys are having such a great time!

Which ones of these relatives are from my neck of the woods in VA again?

My SIL Donna (the blonder one) and her hubby (the one with the beard and the baseball hat) live in Gloucester with the two teenage boys. He's the guy who works at Northrup Grunman (or whatever it's called) at the shipyards. Designs submarines. MIL also lives with them.

I did those shirts as an iron-on from a DISign here on the boards. Mine says I'm the Mom, feel free to treat me like a queen and the girls' say I'm the daughter, feel free to treat me like a princess. We made them before our Jan 09 trip - they've held up well!

I'll try not to keep you all in suspense too long! Hopefully another update this afternoon since I'm in Work Avoidance Mode right now.

I believe we left off when we were heading out of MK for an afternoon break at BLT.

We ran into the Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Parade – which I didn’t even realize was going on! So we took a few pictures while we made our way back down Main Street.

Yes, we made them do the Tinkerbell picture! Don't they look thrilled??

We made our way back to BLT and decided to hit the pool! It was about 82 degrees. On the way to the pool, I saw the laundry room and found out that the machines were free!!! Oh, the perks of staying at a DVC resort! So I grabbed a bag of dirty clothes, bought some Tide and threw in a couple loads! I was so psyched that I had time to do this, I’d been expecting to bring home suitcases full of dirty clothes! Now we could properly repack our suitcases for the cruise too! It’s the little things…

So we hit the pool and I called my parents (they’d left me a message on my phone earlier that I didn’t hear). They just wanted to tell me that we had 10 inches of snow at our house!! So I made sure to mention that it was 82 degrees and I was by the pool! HA!

No, I don't know that woman. Although I'm sure she's thrilled I'm posting her picture!

This is actually behind the Contemporary. We went over to get some food at their snack bar by their pool. And to look for the nephews, who never made it out of the room. I think they were napping. Or texting.

After about an hour, we cleaned up and decided to go exploring. We still wanted to see the Wilderness Lodge all decorated for Christmas, so we hopped on the boat and took a leisurely ride.

Dave was hungry, so we went to Roaring Forks to use a CS credit and he could get a BBQ Pulled pork flatbread. For dessert – a MAGIC COOKIE BAR!!! Guess who ate most of that??? Yup – that would be me! Wilderness Lodge is SO beautiful! Even though the theme is North Woods, and we have some of that near where we live, I would like to stay there one day too. My list is getting longer and most of the resorts are Deluxe!! YIKES! People keep asking me why we keep going back – DUH – new resorts and restaurants of course! LOL!

That one's kind of blurry, but the tree decorations are so cute - all outdoorsy, wildnerness stuff!

It's a hidden Mickey on the side of the big fireplace!!! Sarah read a lot of that book quickly! Anywhere we were going, she checked to see where the hidden Mickeys were!

After we had perused WL for a bit, we hopped on the boat to MK so we could see the castle lighting show.

Funny story:
I like to look at the CM's name tags to see where they're from. We go through the turnstiles at MK and see a lady CM - Patty - who is from Forest Lake, MN. Just a couple towns north of us!!! So of course, I mention that we're from Oakdale. She says "I used to live in Oakdale". We discuss where, and turns out she lived 5 houses away from us. We remembered each other and laughed! On the trip we took in 2004, she had recently moved down to FL and we bumped into her at DTD!!! That time she recognized us. She and her DH both work for WDW part time!! Back then she was at a resort and he was working the Fantasyland rides. We probably would not recognize by face anymore, so I'm glad she had a name tag!!!

We made it back up to the Castle Hub and found a bench that a nice lady shared with us. DH went to Casey's and got some corn dog nuggets and fries (with cheese sauce at my request!).
While we waited, another parade celebration came around. I don't know what it was called off the top of my head!

I really loved that show where Cinderella gets to decide on the decorations for the castle. It's really cute and it's AMAZING to see the actual lighting!!

We saw Spectro and while we were waiting DH found a cute spot for some more pictures.

Most of my Spectro pictures are kind of blurry!
DH snuck away and got a Dole Whip, which I ate most of! (I'm seeing a trend!)
Then we went and squeezed in a ride on POTC before Wishes. We found a spot between Crystal Palace and the castle on the road to Adventureland before the bridge. Sarah, Donna and her family and I raced to POTC, walked right on, raced back to our spot and watched Wishes!! It was so cute - a little girl standing near by us said "are they gonna burn down the castle?" All sweet and worried and innocent. Her parents set her straight. I couldn't help but chuckle!
Next up, back to BLT and a visit with Shawna!!

Love the last 2 updates. Before they changed the name, my family used to eat at Alfredo's on every trip to WDW. The food was soooo good and all the waiters used to hit on my older sister! One of them told her they were going to take her back to Italy with them!!! Your dessert there looked right up my alley. Little bites of different things. Yummy!

I love the pics of the Castle all lit up. It makes me want to cry! I also love the matching shirts. They're adorable! How awesome that you ended up seeing a CM that you actually knew. That must have been so much fun.

All your pics in the Santa hats are great. Love the ones on the white bench, at WL, and at the candy cane area at MK. Just beautiful! I'd have one of those framed!

WL looked so warm and fuzzy! You really did some resort hopping didn't you? How did you get your girls to go along with that without whinning? Maybe when my DD is a little older she will be more cooperative.

It's a Small World after all!!! yeah, for the next update and a visit with me I reaaaaaally need to catch mine up, but it's been crazy with Mikes knee surgery--I have been driving around everywhere...back to Houston tomorrow!
