Resort room from hell at the contemporary

We are staying at the contemporary this week. Monday when we checked in our room had a sliding glass door that was broke. We had a room in the north wing. We had maintenance fix it. Well when we came back from Magic Kingdom yesterday there was water on the floor from the toilet. Maintenance came and fixed it.

Well this morning at 2:30am my wife woke up to the sound of water. At first she thought it was me because I sleep with a cpap. After she realized it was not me she went to the bathroom and found about 4 inches of water in the bathroom and there was water spraying out of the toilet. She woke me up. Well I was not happy. I called maintenance and they told us to turn the water off.

Well we were upgraded to a tower room. And we were given yesterday's room fee free. The manager was so nice I could not be mad. They went out of their way for us. They laundered some of my wife's clothes that were sprayed from the flood. We are ready for the rest of the trip to be uneventful. Hopefully that will be all the drama for us. This tower room is the 4th room we got.

Yikes, sounds like they improved they're CM attitudes because we had a bad stay there in April. Nothing was "offered" to help with our troubles. We had to tell them what we wanted them to do! (We stayed in North wing too.)

Sheesh, what a nightmare for your vacation!! I'm certainly glad to hear that they upgraded you for your troubles!! Hopefully the rest of your vacation will go perfect!!

We didn't get a castle view but the room is nice.

Thanks for the tip on how to score a tower upgrade from a wing room. I'll make sure to pack a wrench next trip...
