o.k just a quick resort report about BCV.

1) Got more of those "Welcome Home" statements than I cared for. I for one don't really care for them (my wife does though). So of course I got a "Welcome home" every three seconds..at the front desk, walking by the DVC kiosk, bell boy, everywhere. My wife only got one.;)
2)The resort is very nice. Its Disney so you know its going to be. I like the attention to detail. They had lots of rooms laid out so you can go an relax. Very peaceful. If you own their (I don't) you would not be disappointed at all.
3)Th resort is seperated from the Beach Club. So you have to walk outside to get to the resort. Not a big deal, In Florida they don't get to much snow:cool:
4)Stormalong Bay was FUNNNNNN
5)3 minute walk to epcot
6)Every CM was extremely nice. They went out of there way to help people, at least from what I observed.
In all, had a great time stayed way to late and ate way to much food at the Wine and Food (Burp!) fest.

Thanks for the report -glad you had a good time!

We stayed at the BCV in October for 6 days and found it to be a great resort. I loved the room...we were in a 1BR. It's smaller than OKW(my home resort)but you can't beat the overall location. I just wish they'd added one more closet besides the master bedroom one. As far as the walking outside thing, if you go out over by the gift shop, you can walk under a covered walkway from the hotel to the villas. The sides are open, but there is a roof overhead which would afford protection from rain, unless it was really windy and blowy.

I thought to CMs were great too...we didn't encounter a bad one all trip, and got just the right amount of "welcome homes".;)

It's a great property. The only thing I wonder is how they are going to continue to sell the DVC. Soon, people are not going to want to buy because they won't have as many years on their contract as some of us "earlier birds" do. Maybe they'll start a DVC II, where they'll start the thing all over again.

jcodespoti - thanks for your report. BCV is my home resort and while we have stayed at the YC & BC in the past I can't wait to go home for the first time in June!! Annmarie

Just visitied BCV in early Nov. We have stayed at YC and BC on other trips - but BCV surely surpassed our expectations. So happy with our purchase of DVC!! :teeth:

and we also loved the BCV. However we also felt that there can be more storage for your clothes in both the 1 vedroom and the Studio's.
