Resort hopping with baggage

Hopefully someone can answer this - Through some cruel act of fate the airline that we have been booked on for 6 months to fly from the West coast to WDW has cancelled the flight that we would be taking in 17 days. So, I had to scramble and find another flight that would get us to Disney in the same alotted time we have for vacation. OK. That's done but now will be arriving the evening before orginally scheduled and they have no room for us this first night at the WL. The next closest place we can get for this one night is the Poly, OK, we can do that. We're also using Magical Express and had to change those arangements. OK, done.
Now I guess on to the question. How do we get our baggage from the Poly to the WL the next day? Do we carry them on to the monorail and to the boat or bus? Will Disney help us? Help!... please

Disney will transport your luggage for you - the only downside is that check out time is early, say 10am and check in time is later say 4pm.

So, just leave your luggage with bellservices at the Poly and check out. Hit the parks or spend the day where you like and then check in at WL. Your luggage should be there when, or shortly after you arrive.

We have only done this twice, BC to AKL and ASM to Poly but both times it was great - and our luggage was waiting for us.

If you are leary then I would take a cab from Poly to WL, it shouldn't cost more than $15.00 and IIRC luggage is not allowed on the WDW park transportation.
