Any thoughts on exclusive park admission only to Disney/DVC resort guests? Just for a limited time to see if full opening is feasible/safe. Just a question, not a recommendation, so hold the slings and arrows.

I really think that to have more control that admission will be available for onsite guests only-especially for the several weeks.

If the information that I "heard" is correct then the MK resorts will open first and MK park. who know?

I just hope things can go back to being somewhat normal.

The only problem re: Fla residents is many of them will come for the day, or stay off property, reducing onsite occupancy and the bottom line. Fla residents could be the next level of opening.

Yes, I could see them open to resort guests to start with some controlled plans...register for the park, no hopping etc,

I do think all resorts..or at least all DVC resorts will open at the same time..giving the timeshare nature and what the POS says.

I suspect it will be Florida residents getting access to the parks first, with no resorts open. That cuts down on the food service requirements, plus allows Disney to fine tune the process of social distancing in a theme park setting.

I can see this. If there are people at the resorts and no theme parks open. The limited dining at most resorts can not handle the volume. WDW would have to limit how many rooms were rented. I believe that most hotels will not open unless the theme parks are open.

I think they will open the parks to locals first. By opening to locals, they will be able limit entry without having disgruntled guests who paid for Disney but aren't able to experience it.

Once the parks are open for a couple of weeks, then I think it could be limited to resort guests with a small number of tickets for outsiders. I think they will have entry tickets like they are doing in Shanghai. I also think, when they do open, they will open all DVC but a limited amount of Disney hotels in each category till they can expand park capacity.

This does make sense and may be how it all works out.

I agree with this. I don't think they would open only a few of the DVC resorts without opening themselves up for an onslaught of unhappy DVC members and due to the POS I think they can't just open MK DVC resorts.
