Do you think WDW would offer discounts to those who already have a resort reservation, you will receive it at check in? They will not announce this to keep the crowd level low. However, for those who have made reservations before all this took place, you wonder if WDW will offer something to those guests? What do you think??

Hahahaha this is the opposite of how Disney is thinking. They are more likely to charge you a new fee 😉

DVC resorts are opening early because they have too, not because they want to. There are just way too many points floating out there and they have to offer a way to burn some off the books. Huge issues coming with avaialability so Disney has to burn some points fast. The other resorts they want to make money, they are not in a customer service mode at all right now. Reality is you will be paying full price for half the experience in 2020 which is Disney keeps trying to get people to rebook.
They would rather that then offer a discount. Disney's only goal is to stop the cash burn as quickly as possible they can do customer service and win people back later. Every move of being so silent is them not worried about their image or a customer service short term. 2022 or something they can see how their image is compared to demand and do good will gestures then but I bet they won't have to and demand will be back or higher than ever(assuming a vaccine)

Discounts and customer service aren’t the same thing.

You are correct. Disney won't be offering either for a while. Their only goal is to stop their cash bleed. Staffing for distancing and covid requirements will be top priority . It's not going to be the Disney you are use to at all. If your a local please go, if your travelling a totally bad use of money and not a good value

You should let everyone make that decision for themselves. Some people will like the incredibly low crowds and cast members under less stress than normal.

Exactly the opposite!! I think the next step in the plan is going to be non-guaranteed hotel reservations.

Just like what they are doing with the parks, you fly in and you pick your hotel and get in line for Magical Express, they take you to that hotel and once you get to the lobby they notify you, via text, either your room number or what time the Magical Express will be back for your return trip to the airport.

In the end it is your money. In general if you are flying in or this is a significant event you need to save for this trip, i still think you should rebook for a normal experience in the not so distant future. If you go to Disney all the time, then sure go for it, expensive for what you get, but will definitely be unique.

I bet you could go on alot less rides per day. With the virtual ques and time it takes to wipe down cars, no row sharing, and every other row.
