for non FL residents is 8 nights. If you are staying at a Disney resort for 8 nights or more, it is less exoensive to buy an AP than a UHP (or LOS pass, whatever it is called now). There have been times when we did not get resort discounts (president's week in Feb and Oct 2003), but we stayed more than 8 nights, so it paid to buy this pass. Also, we are going again this Sept (activated AP when we went last Oct), so we will not have to buy passes for DH and I for this trip! I believe the AP still gives 10% select stores in DTD (including WOD), a perctange off certain shows (like Cirque), and dining discounts off a few select locations (like 10% off lunch at Epcot sit down places, Trails End, and a few other on site places). All in all, it more than works for us financially. I am hoping one of the other perks, an early screening of the new Stitch ride for AP holders, will be able to be enjoyed on our Sept trip!
