Resort Dining Choice for Casual Dining

After staying at various Epcot resorts (Boardwalk and both Beach and Yacht clubs as well as stays at the Swan and Dolphin), I'm trying to find time on my next trip to visit other resorts. I believe making a dinner reservation at a different resort would be the best way to force myself to visit and branch out.

I've narrowed down our choices to the following, but will also consider other suggestions:

Boatwright's Dining Hall @ Port Orleans Riverside
Grand Floridian Cafe @ GF
Kona Cafe @ Poly
Olivia's Cafe @ Old Key West
Trail's End Restaurant @ Fort Wilderness

Any one of these I should avoid? Any others I should consider? I'm leaning between Kona Cafe and Boatwright's at the moment. GF dinner menu seems a bit limited.

Thanks for listening.

We love Trail's End, especially arriving by boat. Kona is good too. If it's just resort exploring you're looking for, QS/snacks are a good way to go too. You could get a small bite at each of the the monorail resorts and eat while walking around, then grab the boat at CR to get to WL & FW.

Kona Cafe is a step up imho. The monorail makes it convenient. Trails End is good if you want comfort food, have hungry mouths to feed that want more food and the atmosphere is fun if the weather cooperates. I did Trails End with the boat from MK in the driving rain one night and it wasn't that fun. Because of the travel involved, don't underestimate the weather if you make ressies for Trails End.

We loved Olivia's. DH especially loved the Duval Burger (I think it has avocado-not for me). He raved about it to friends, who then went a couple nights later, and they also became big fans.

Olivia's is so good. Simple good food & excellent service. Saana is my favorite restaurant on property. Like ever.
Josh did a good review of The Wave the other day. Looks like a good place to try.
I can't remember the name of the steak house at Saratoga but I have heard good things

What about Sanaa at AKL? It's my favorite restaurant on property, not just favorite resort restaurant.

Of the choices you posted, Grand Floridian Cafe and Kona are must-dos on every trip for us. Table service at MK is pretty bad and these are both a quick monorail ride away!

Agreed 100%. Kona hands down.

I think your choices are solid. I love Trails End & Kona. I have had a great meal at Boatwright's as well. I would suggest Sanaa & Boma.

Definitely Kona, but be sure to do breakfast. Best on property IMO.

Is also suggest Sanaa. Not only is AKL gorgeous, but they have amazing food and combined with savannah views it is a great experience

I'd love to do Sanaa, and that is also a possibility, but DW is a plain meat & potatoes eater - and I do mean plain - I wasn't sure if she'd go for it. Boma is probably out of the question too.
