Resort Changers--The Saga Continues.....

I now have 3 nights at OKW and 1 night AKL for our Sept. trip, both are studios. I hadn't planned on OKW, but was lucky enough to get the upgrade. My dilemna now is whether I should keep the split/last night at AKL or switch that last night to OKW so we dont have to move. The trip is for My Sis, and she doesn't know about AKL, as that was gonna be a surprise. I cant gauge what would work for her without actually telling her - she is not an uber planning, disney aholic like me , in fact almost gets annoyed with me when I ramble on about the details - really some people. What would you do????

Well, its probably a mute point. I checked today on the WDW website and now there is nothing open for that last night at OKW all those darn folks that got the upgrades took all the rooms, wow and that happened fast since 2 days ago there was alot of inventory over labor day! I guess I'll just have to stick with AKL. I did notice that BLT was open though - but I would need 4 more points ... hmmm ... Dont you all love dreaming about the endless resort possibilities?

I would stay there in Dec but really have to make it budget...so I am happy with POP

You have lots going on....DIsney will always be there, especially the resorts....as long as you are in Disney

POP is so fun!! I bet it will be so cool at Christmas! Already told DH that we're going over for a visit to Everything Pop, he's intrigued to see it after I've been raving over the food court!

WHEW..., LOTS going on here concerning the move.

Disneybride....yes, I did have CS booked at one time.... I think that was between BC and OKW...I think....

I'm thinking about changing to AKL or WL since my DH wants to add WP & more to the ticket. For the same price, we can book WL or AKL standard and add the ticket upgrade.................................................

They won't charge us for the change because it should be an equal exhange.

Last night my DH asked me why I didn't pick one of the other resorts like BC....WHY IS HE DOING THIS TO ME??? I think he has amnesia. He seems to think it would cost less than SSR not realizing the deal be have. Should I take him up on the offer and feign ignorance when the bill come in???? I keep thinking that my children won't like the theme of SSR. Also, where should I request?? Should I go back to OKW since it is closer to EPCOT?

Singinglizzie, keep the AKL thingy. Change is good, more change is better!

boy the boards are all a flitter with these new codes....affected anyone here?

I just added DDP to my room only res (earlier email pin) and now I have 5 nights at POP with DDP for one adult , one child..642.....not bad!

DisneyBride, that's REALLY good!! You will enjoy it all the more knowing it's such a great deal.

We also changed from room only at CSR - it's $20 more a night than the AP rate but we have free dining so it's worth it. DH said it was up to me so now I am making an ADR wish list!!

Have stayed Pop and loved it before...have never stayed at a Mod...

All these discounts do not help us changers!!! LOL

You are not alone! We love to change our ressies around! That's all I think about all day! What can I change next??
I drive my hubby crazy, he truely thinks I'm nutz!
I would say rent points and try BWV, it looks so nice there! Or you could do WL, I feel in love with it there when we ate dinner at Whispering Canyon. Too bad their standard rooms only hold 4 people!

Did you find a deal with BC? I went on last night and tried with the new room code and . We added three nights at Royal Pacific Resort so the children could enjoy Universal/IOA at the beginning of the trip so we don't have additional funds in the budget for a room upgrade. I think I'm going to wish I had gone with BC for the very reasons you state. We LOVE the EPCOT area and frequent both EPCOT and DHS. Wish I had a 40% code. That would do just fine.

NJPrincess you are not alone! For one thing....I live in NJ (We are moving to Virginia in two weeks ) As the others have stated, there is a very large group here who totally understand the back-and-forth resort change thing. It's what we live for...... Welcome.
