And Happy Easter and Passover everyone! I decorated eggs with my mom and sister and they are so cute! I haven't done anything for Easter in nearly 10 years because my mom's family (the Christian side) live in St. Louis and everyone was getting too big for the Easter egg hunt. We also made Easter baskets! This year Passover is during Easter, but my dad says we can break the rules for today.

And one of the eggs I dyed is pink and I put a pig face on it because of my co-worker. Ever since her mom passed away 6 months ago, she has seen a pig every day because her mom loved pigs. She loved it when I posted it on facebook.

I need to stop coming to this thread , it feeds my urge to change my resort again. Thing is now that I have all my ADRs booked I know changeing would be crazy since then there would be some ADRs I would need to change.
In a way I hope Disney does not offer a better discount than what I have currently or " the Urge" will come over me again.

You have to do a TR with pics of CR since there is where I was originally booked to stay at and a part of me still wishes I had not given up our TPV room.

I'm glad people are excited for my TR! I'm a bit nervous since I've never done one before, but I think I will do just fine. And I will take tons of pics! I have a pretty bad memory so bringing the notebook will be super helpful because I don't want to forget anything.

Should I switch to BLT when I call, or stay at BWV? Either way it's going to be a studio (I just want to check a Villa off my list). Don't forget, I'm going during the busiest time!
Will be going to Epcot 2 days, MK 2 days, DHS 1 day, AK 1 day. DtD on arrival day.

Even though Free Dining will be starting the room only discounts we got is the one that started on August 14th until October 1st.

Oh really I had no idea you can do that with the Bounceback rate. Personally I don't think that's something we would do and this is why. Obviously with any room only discount it all depends on how many room categories from each of the resorts are made available and the dates we can go. Well what if we made the reservation at the rack rate before we arrived and it turns out the room category we wanted was sold out on the Bounceback rate. Plus since we stay Club Level we don't want to fill out any of the IPO forms with specifc dates reserved because what if we needed to change the date of our reservations. For example our dates needed to be changed at the Boardwalk Inn to get the 35% discount. We were supposed to be there from August 8th - 22nd and switched the dates to August 17th - 31st when the discount came out and saw it wasn't starting when we were originally going to arrive.

Well, you can certainly cancel the rack rate reservation up to 5 days prior to arrival with no penalty and you don't have to send in the PIP form until you've switched the rack rate reservation to the bounceback rate. I just thought it was interesting that this could even be done.

I thought I knew every DIS acronym, but you've got me with GSTL and LOD. Do I need to ask the cashier the next time I'm at Target?

I want to give Disney a call next Tuesday as I can make a payment and see if there is still room available at my husband's airline rate. The problem is we were watching the dvd's from our last trip at the GF and well we sort of all looked at each other and said "let's see if there's a room with our name on it"!

Those darn DVDs and YouTube videos. They do make you even more excited about a resort. So what is so wrong about staying at the GF?

I'm still thinking about switching our AKL CL stay over to GFC RPC or SL. I'll wait for the AP discounts to come out.

And I think that the thread was moved to Codes and Rates because we kept talking about all of the discounts and discussing which code or rate was better than which discount amidst all of our switching.

I was a little worried at first when you mentioned putting a pig face on an egg because of a co-worker. But, the story went in a completely different direction and had a happy ending

I thought of you when I was running at the gym. I think you've been doing cardio going on one week now, right? This is a good sign and means it's becoming a routine for you and you can definitely keep this up. I know you will! Are you doing any weight bearing exercise? (Other than carry your children everywhere)

Because you're going at the busiest time (we were at the CR and WL at that time last year), I would recommend BLT over BWV. This is a personal preference, but I feel that being in the MK resorts area is more "Christmasy" feeling and with the MK being the most crowded resort at Christmas, it makes it so much easier to be able to walk there from the CR/BLT. If it's too crowded, you just walk right back to BLT - no big deal. At night when it's crowded, it's so convenient to just walk back instead of squeezing your way onto the monorail. I know you can walk from Epcot and DHS to BWV, but I just feel more in the Christmas spirit in the MK area.

I agree that it is interesting, however it's just something we persoanlly wouldn't do.

Also the PIP form lists whatever dates we would be staying at the resort from the check-in day to the check-out day. Now maybe it's because we didn't actually e-mail the BWI and BC IPO right away because they finally sent us the PIP forms a while after our reservations were made. So that's why we don't want to make a reservation and end up changing it if the discounted dates won't be available.

In all my multi-quote mania I forgot to mention a teeny-tiny resort change that may have occurred yesterday.

DH asked me about our ADRs and when I mentioned breakfast at Kona (he loves The Samoan) he said that he keeps picturing Capt. Cook's in his mind when he thinks about our vacation and that he couldn't picture the YC in his mind at all and he wondered why we weren't staying at the Poly

Now, we went down this road before and still ended up changing from BC to YC so that DH could stay at an Epcot resort (remember us jogging around Crescent Lake, pas130?) Well, DH just couldn't picture us there and he could picture us at the Poly and us jogging around the TTC parking lot LOL and him hiding out in the lounge, so yesterday I was able to switch to the Poly/CL using our 40% off military discount (Att. Mods, I mentioned a discount)

BTW, if you ever get "Percival" when calling "resort reservation changes", he is by far, the best WDTC CM I've had. He was so great that I not only did the phone survey, but I did the internet survey, too where I could mention him by name. Talking with him confirmed to me that this was a great change I was making.

Actually their smaller lounge you mentioned is located on the 3rd floor and we always went up there, however it was for a different reason. Our room happened to be located on the 3rd floor and we would always go to the main lounge on the 2nd floor by walking from the stairs located on the 3rd floor where the smaller lounge was. Also the lounge part on the 3rd floor has a bathroom which none of the other Club Level lounges have and a TV area.

@WDWKOOK: Thanks for telling me I'm special. And GSTL and LOD aren't DIS acronyms. They are Target acronyms. GSTL = Guest Service Team Leader and LOD = Leader on Duty.

Regarding the pigs, I always go out of my way to find a pig for her when we are working together. We have found little kid books with pigs as characters, pajamas with pigs on them, a pig neck rest, pig pillow, etc. It's lots of fun.

And I won't be online at WDW. I will do the TR when I get back which is why I'm taking a notebook with me so I can write stuff down.

I also totally forgot to call the cake hotline to order a cake for my gramma as a mother's day/thank you gift.

I saw this mini Cinderella Castle cake in the cake thread that would be perfect for the two of us! We would have it after our meal at the Cali Grill. She is basically paying for everything so I have to do something for her.
