I am saying Happy Easter today, because I probably won't be back on til Monday. I am inbetween errands right now, attempting to put DS for nap-he's given up sleeping for Lent I think

Sorry to hear of the loss of your son There are no words... BTW we are planning a RC girls trip if we can ever figure THAT out

A RC Girls trip! Really? Oh boy, oh boy - that would be fabulous!! Now that my kids are adults and all but one friend does not get Disney I must wait until my 2 1/2 yr old grand daughter is old enough for a family trip (we will wait until she is at least 4, maybe 5 - she LOVES Mickey and Minnie but would be overwhelmed with a Disney trip right now). Anyway ...I am the queen of digressing... wouldn't a RC Girls Trip be fun! Count me in. Hmm...wonder how we'd ever figure out where to stay? Poor Disney...

So, I've been trying to go back and look at all the ADORABLE pics of all the munchkins, but without writing it all down (then would not be able to read my handwriting) will not get all those darlings with the right moms, so please know I think they are all just precious!!

What's all this about Target? Could someone explain in a nutshell? Maybe I need the 10 cent cook's tour around the thread?

We have often wondered why the thread was placed in the Codes and Rates portion We can make up a reason but I think it was a mistake. Anyone want to come up with a good reason?

LillianGracey You are part of my Target family, my BIL also works at Target, and his significant other as well (they met there) My MIL is GSTL, she started at Food Ave. She's great, a fellow DisFreak-both of them actually. It's great you have a Great BF so young. Good men as SO hard to find. And she is your niece, you don't have to be blood to be family (Just look at all of us) How jazzed are you that your trip is almost here

Awe! Yay! I feel so special! I just got a thank you card in the mail today from the GSTLs and LODs! I felt so special! I work with the most wonderful people! I'm glad I have him too. He is super thoughtful and is wonderful to be around and he can deal with my temper tantrums. If he can withstand those and not break up with me, he is a good man. And I am so stoked!!! 17 days left!!! And 10 days 'til my birthday! I even changed my ticker! Sad that it started all over, but it's much more appropriate now.

Lilyana has taken up sleeping...as long as I'm holding her or laying with her. Compromises!

I can't believe the change in weather. This weather is killing me and now it's going to rain all weekend. I was hoping to walk to the ice place tomorrow with the kids ( no street crossing) but I guess that's out. I definitely don't mind and I'd be more than happy to share! We should absolutely get together. We got a bunny picture of both of them after coaxing DS with promises of a new toy. He was afraid of the bunny!!!

I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost my little sister almost 2 years ago. It's an unspeakable tragedy and I wish you didn't have to experience it.

So I blame all of you!! First the GF, then the Poly and well we changed our minds and hopefully changing back to GF next week!

After much thought and careful consideration, we have officially removed Poly from our list of potential resorts......and added BWV.....Does this count? We are still at 5 choices... CR, BC, BCV, YC, and BWV...We are booked at both BC and CR for two separate weeks...... I am afraid that my DH will eventually say "this is ridiculous, lets just go somewhere else"

I want to give Disney a call next Tuesday as I can make a payment and see if there is still room available at my husband's airline rate. The problem is we were watching the dvd's from our last trip at the GF and well we sort of all looked at each other and said "let's see if there's a room with our name on it"!

I'm sorry for your loss. I'm hoping this trip is going to help heal my mom a bit. She hasn't been doing well since my sister passed.

I had to make the same decision for our trip and since DS said Poly and mom said GF we're doing both! Then everyone is happy (especially me!) and we get to stay at two beautiful resorts.

Well I am always going to recommend staying at the Contemporary, so I would say to keep your reservation you already have overt there. Now we haven't yet stayed at the Beach Club but we will at the end of August, so I still can't say if it's good or not good. Besides that at the Boardwalk we have only stayed at the Inn section, although after the Villas section everything else there is shared by guests of both sections and it's also got a great atmosphere, especially at night.

We are scheduled for the end of August too! We may be with you at BC depending on when we actually go. One of the things I like about CR vs. BC is that all of the rooms have Daybeds and we need one. BUT we are booked in the GW and we won't have a balcony.

I'm one those who doesn't enjoy a split stay because we like to settle in - our resort becomes home for whatever time we're there.....but....don't think it would be too difficult to try a Poly/GF split stay!! May have to add that to the Disney the 'to do' list. We've stayed nearly everywhere - no AS or OKW. Most of our stays have been monorail resorts, but we've branched out now and then.

Maybe there's soemthing wrong with me, but little desire to stay CL - don't care about the food and paying for what used to be included (nightly turn down service and daily newspaper) might annoy me. Although, last GF GV stay we still received both - has that changed?

Welcome back! I hear that AKL CL is the best! Of course being a member of the Jambo wild bunch makes me partial to anything AKL. I think that they kept cha cha changing us and we landed in the Codes and Rates category by accident.

I'm too indecisive to stay one place for too long. Since we go for more than 8 nights I need to switch it up or I'll go nuts! Our last trip we only did 7 nights so we stayed at CBR the entire trip. It's one of our favorites so the commitment wasn't too brutal but I think if it was 1 or 2 nights more I would have needed to break it up. The benefit of a Poly/GF split (okay, ONE of the benefits) is that it's just a monorail stop away so no cabs to get to the Grand from the Poly.

I don't see anything wrong with disliking CL. We upgraded because my parents are coming so if the kids are sleeping and my parents want to hang out they can sit in the lounge, or vice versa since my dad goes to bed earlier than anyone. We can also hang out in there while waiting for everyone to get ready. Disney's CL is nothing like real CL service!
