Is the resort boat between fort wilderness contemporary and wilderness lodge running yet?

The last boat captain I talked to said that Disney doesn't plan to bring the resort boat back. Other sources said that there were problems with boats docking at the Contemporary at the same time that Disney's special boats, like the fireworks cruises, were competing with dock space.

That’s such a bummer. The resort boat was a huge perk when staying at those resorts particularly when we had dinner reservations at the other resorts.

We were just staying at the Contemporary a few weeks ago and there was still no Boat service to the other resorts, we loved taking the boats from Wilderness lodge to Hoop dee doo every year, Hopefully they will change their minds and start this up again, Just more things that Disney is taking away.... very sad

We also LOVED the resort boat for our MK days when staying at the Lodge. We would take the 645 boat over to the contemporary and walk over for RD. I'm hoping they bring it back
