Resort advice re: split stay??

Hi all...I need some resort advice! DH and I are planning a trip November 9-14th. We are trying to decide where to stay. Normally I book through my TA, but she is no longer working. So, I think I am going to try booking the hotel myself! We may purchase AP's (we did a few years ago!), but we're still not sure.

We just got married in October and splurged on a Poly lagoon room then. We are trying to keep the cost of this trip lower than that. We were thinking of staying at WL, but we've stayed there before. We thought of PoR, but I am just not sure I will like the theming. Then I thought of splitting our stay between, say, Poly GV and Pop. I am unsure as to how much of a pain this would be. Any advice from others who have done this? Should we just take PoR? Any suggestions for another resort I am not mentioning? Help!

Smaller than the other moderates - Many believe the best of the Mods. Personally I like the theming better than POR.

We have split stays often - if you are prepared it is not that big a deal.
If you split stays I would do the Value or Mod first than go to the Poly. Doing Poly First might be a let down moving.
Personally I do not like the Values (never did POP) but the rooms are just way to small (especially compared to POly) and at PO you can get a room with a King

I've done the split stay thing and while disney makes it as painless as possible there is still check in, unpacking, packing..check out...travel to new resort..check in, unpacking..packing..check out. No matter how you slice it and how easy it may appear you still lose quite an amount of time. I doubt I'd do it again. Unless you are staying like 10 days & enjoy hangin out at the resort over the parks. Not worth it!

We split our stay between the AKL and the Poly. We really enjoyed staying at two different resorts. It felt like two different vacations. We stayed 8 nights.

Bell services made transferring the luggage easy for us. Good luck with your decision.
