Has anyone stayed at Residence Inn Lake Buena Vista? How was it - room, pool, breakfast etc. ? If you got a good rate, where did you get it?

stayed there mar 2002. i believe they had recently opened. the pool wasn't heated so we didn't go in. the 1 bedroom seemed small after awhile so if possible, try the 2 bedroom. the breakfast every morning was great. it was a full breakfast not just continental so we ate up and headed to the parks with full tummies. i think we paid $108/night back then but the rates lately seem to fluctuate.
i would probably stay there again but we rented a vacation home this year and it was so great, that's the way we'll do disney from now on.

We haven't stayed there, but have stayed at other Residence Inns. They are all pretty much the same. I agree that the rooms are on the small side. I also agree that they put out a nice breakfast spread. Finally, I also agree that you can get a lot more space for your money renting a condo or pool home. You might want to check http://www.windsor-palms-resort.com/ Windsor Palms. We've booked a 3-bedroom, 2-bath condo for November for under $100/nite. They have 2-bedroom condos even cheaper.
