Okay...anyone ever stay here? I found a good flight/hotel package and this is one of the listed choices BUT the 1 and only customer review was not nice at all!!

I was going to plan on staying on property but now since I can't seem to get a good flight deal I may have to cut costs elsewhere? What are some opinions about staying on / off site? I do have 2 young kids and I myself love the Disney magic so I'm just not sure.....

My ex-SIL just stayed there last month w/her family, and they enjoyed their stay - she had good things to say about the hotel.

I have pics of the hotel in the hotel thread stuck at the top.

We have stayed there a vouple of times. It was descent. The parking was tight at times, but we are staying there again.

There is also another Residence Inn farther down on Harbor. That one is newer, although it is farther away from the park.

Are you talking about the one on Clementine? We're staying there next month, haven't been there yet, but I've heard lots of good things about it.

We have stayed a couple of times. First time was TERRIFIC! Clean room, okay breakfast and happy hour. No complaints!

The second time our room was in need of a major overhaul. Carpet was disgustingly stained with I don't know what. My DD's autograph book was STOLEN from our room. She was 4 year's old and devistated. We left it on the kitchen counter and went to Sea World when we got back not autograph book. Management was not helpful and did not even offer to replace the book. Breakfast was maginal and we never did the happy hour. I would not stay there again from our last experience.

We stayed there last year and it was ok. The only thing I didn't like was everyone had outside entry. It wasn't fun lugging the luggage up 2 flights of stairs. I like the newer Residence Inns that have inside corridors.

The grounds were nice, the free food was good. I would go back.

WOW...pretty mixed reviews of this place. I found a really great deal on a flight/hotel package with this place as one of the options but I just don't know. I worry about staying anywhere off-site due to these things.

Do any of you know if you did a deal like that flight/hotel through Travelocity do they offer the transportation to/from airport and any other things you may want to do...such as Sea World or San Diego Zoo?

One book I read said this was not in walking distance and did not have shuttle but that is not correct is it? It is on the shuttle route and is within 1 mile of Disneyland correct?

Thanks...love to hear from any other visitors here!

The only shuttle is a passenger van that takes you to DL. No airport shuttle or to anywhere else.

Is the van this 'ART' shuttle that people talk about? So I would get a shuttle to/from the airport how? Through Travelocity - Airline??? Sorry, but first time flyer here.

No, the hotel has 2 maroon passenger vans that they use to transport people back and forth from hotel to DL.

From the airport you can take a Super Shuttle, Primetime Shuttle, or Disney and Greylines got together and have Big Bus that is painted with Disney Characters. Prices are all about the same and you do not have to make reservations before hand.

Stayed there in July. The only problem we had were some ants in the kitchen, otherwise the unit was fine. The parking is a problem at times in the front, but generally plenty on the side and rear. The breakfast buffet was average.
The walk to the park is not bad (about 15 minutes), but could be a problem with tired children.
The staff were helpful with directions.
Would stay there again.

Stayed there in August for a week. Room was clean and kept clean. Not one problem. ART stops out in front or you can walk to Red Roof and catch it at its 2nd stop. We will be going back there in June 2006.
