Whoa...I don't have an issue with them not going to the parks..that's exactly my point. They use the resort for the great amenities it offers.Where as most folks in a value resort (from many of the posts I've read) feel they don't want to pay alot for a place where they only sleep. Meaning they're not choosing it for it's amenities. Where as the folks who want a site in FW often are visiting to enjoy the resort itself. Seems a shame, is all I'm saying if they aren't able to do so, because someone who isn't staying on property anywhere wants an extra magic hour.
Of course anyone can do whatever they want if it's within the law. I'm merely commenting that I would feel badly for those who had to miss out on a vacation because someone wanted an extra hour of "magic" and never set forth so much as a foot into the campground.
I agree with you. It just doesn't sit right with me. We hear so often that people sometimes can't get reservations, even far in advance. I don't have the information at hand right now but I've seen the breakdown of the amount of value resort rooms compared to the amount of campsites in FW and the campsites are only a fraction of the resort rooms. It seems a shame to me to take up those much fewer campsites when campers would love to be USING them, just so someone can get free parking and EMH.
I'm not speaking from a business viewpoint.....strictly an emotional one.
