Reservations Open Aug. 6 for Via Napoli

This is really close so I thought it might really affect some of us DVC members who are staying at WDW September 10 on. The soft opening really begins 8/5 on the Grand Opening day, but no reservations will be taken until September 10 (first date of reservations).
Do to the soft opening only walkins are available August 5 through September 9.

1/2 meter pizza, wow, wait, that's the same as the 20" pizza, isn't it?

I am thinking it is just like the pizza at Naples at Downtown Disney in CA. The 20'' is round while the 1/2 meter is a rectangle.

I'm confused. Here's their official word.

The new restaurant at the Italy Pavilion at Epcot, Via Napoli, will begin taking reservations Aug. 6 for Sept. 10, the official opening day. A “Grand Opening” celebration will be Aug. 5, but the restaurant will be in a “soft opening” walk-in phase with no reservations between then and Sept. 10.

The way I read this is that no reservations can be made for dining dates between August 5 and September 10, but starting on August 6, people can make reservations for September 10. But what about dates after September 10? That is, when can ADRs be made? We want to try this restaurant in December.

Tables in Wonderland, Lunch and Dinner 20%
DVC Members, Lunch and Dinner 10%
Annual Pass holders, Monday – Friday, Lunch only 10%

I'm excited to try it out next time we are at WDW!!! One of the castmembers told me about it while we were on our vacation...Hope it tastes like the "real thing" and has the true Italian atmosphere.

Until September 10 they are not taking ADRs it will be walk ups only.

I would think after August 6, you can book anything up to regular requirement which is what 180 days now.

That's what I was thinking. I've marked my iCal to make the December reservation on August 6. But in Disney's information, they did not mention online reservations. They only provided the DD phone number. I guess we'll see if Disney's "IT partners" can add Via Napoli before August 6.
