Reservation Question

How does it work if your reservation is in 2 different points seasons?

For example, I want to plan a trip from 4/30 - 5/4. 4/30 is in magic season and 5/1- 5/4 are in Dream. Because my reservation starts in the higher point season does that mean the following nights will be at the higher point too or does it automatically adjust on a day by day basis?

The points are per night, so they will adjust way you make the transition from one season to another.

This is a confusing point for many mostly due to the practice WDW has of locking in the rate from the day you arrive even if it crosses into other seasons. DVC definitely does not work this way.
