No. Should have. Got off the bus and realized it’s a 7 min walk through the pouring rain to get to the food place here at SSR. . Maybe I should’ve stayed on the bus? So confused.

Yeah....there's just too many internal bus stops at SSR to make it appealing to me. The resort, itself, looks really nice and peaceful though. Definitely doesn't look great as an option in the rain though! At BRV, even if it rains, we can take a covered walkway to get to the main building for restaurants.

Don’t mean to come off as a negative Nancy. I actually love that I’m getting experience all this to learn my way around better to make mistake now than when our park days depend on flawless timing of things when we bring the whole family with us.

The good thing when I went there is that there were a lot of cast members asking where you were going, im presuming because its in active sales, but at night they weren't everywhere and we did wonder if we were at the right bus stop

Well cancelled our food order (love this is an option). We boarded the first bus that pulled up. Was happy to see it was Disney Springs so I see what that travel is like. We will then take a bus over to WL. @ClaraOswald and @WDWfantasy wisdom inspired that. Will be happy to explore there under cover.

Had to go around the bus loop at SSR again. It feels like the driver has went around twice.

None of the resorts will be great to explore in the rain, sadly. One of my favorite things at WL is the walk to the boat dock when you go across the little boardwalk paths. It's very serene but wouldn't be enjoyable in rain.

I can smell the smoked meat from Whispering Canyon right now! One of our favorite places to eat at WL. It’s a great place to explore on a rainy evening. The Mercantile is one of my favorite stores on property. You’ll probably see that miniature Totem Pole that was being discussed on here earlier.
