Resale add-on or DVC direct?

I spoke to my Vacation Club Guide today and I was told the additional points I may want to buy are available at my home resort (VWL) and for my current use year (March). Should I buy directly from Disney because it is so easy and quick, or should I try to find what I am looking for on the resale boards? I haven't seen anything that meets my needs on any of the resale sites. How much money would I save after adding in closing costs, past dues reimbursement, etc. I'm thinking of adding between 150 and 200 points. Thanks for your input.

If you want it, I'd consider going with Disney. With closing, etc; you're not likely to save a lot resale at WLV since it's so new. You usually can get a better deal if someone has owned for a while and paid less. Remember that most owners bought at $70 pp and are going to want around that much and want their maint fees back. On 200 points you might save $1000, not get as many points, have to wait and end up with a different use year.
