Res. with DVC discount?

For a reservation with cash in a DVC resort. Do I have to call member services or can I call CRO? Also what is the discount %?

If you want the DVC member discount (assuming it is available), you must call MS.

If you want to link the cash reservation to a points reservation (so you don't have to move between the cash & points portions of your reservation), you need to book through MS.

One final question: If the accomodation is not available using points for that night would I be correct it would also be unavailable on a cash basis with the DVC discount????

Not necessarily - there could be developer inventory available for the member discount. It never hurts to ask.

These wind up being 2 different things - and what applies to one doesn't necessarily apply to the other. Call MS to find out what's available. When rooms aren't available on points, there are good odds cash inventory (with 25% discount) will be available. Either that, or we've been very lucky!
