Request accessible room or not at ASSp?

The sticky at the top does not appear to have a comprehensive list of accessible rooms at the ASSp. What I really want is a room with a courtyard view, preferably in either Touchdown or Home Run Hotel. (Standard room, not preferred) I will need to be able to get an ECV into the room and also request a tub seat if I stick to a regular room instead of accessible as I cannot stand or walk for more than a few minutes. Can anyone give me a good idea if my odds for a courtyard view will increase or decrease by requesting an accessible room for an arrival in mid-September?

The odds are that the more requests you make, the less are your chances of getting them all. Sounds like your first priority is the HA room. Getting the courtyard view in the building you would like will be just the icing on the cake.

All you can do is phone them and tell them 1. what you NEED 2. What you would like. Then hope for the best.

The accessible rooms are spread out throughout the resort so they do have standard accessible rooms in various buildings with various views the same as non-accessible rooms. I would prioritize your requests. You'll be able to get an ECV in a non-accessible room as the only difference is the bathroom. If you think you need a roll-in shower then definitely request the accessible room with the courtyard view as a 2nd preference. You should probably make your request ASAP if you want an accessible room so that you're guaranteed that one is available for your length of stay.---Kathy
