She was tall, but she if she wore a size 2, it would have hung off of her. Same with her ring size.

Why exactly is reporting on what goes through Cher's head news anyway?
I am so tired of the media acting as if celebrities have credibility. Maybe things would improve if the people who write the news were smarter than the celebrities they worship.
What a bunch of airheads![]()

Right on Cher. Why would any decent person want to be a republican anyway? After seeing the attendees at the RNC in Minnesota, that bland club is too exclusive. Many, if not all of their members, are so out of touch that they reject capping CEO pay at companies that get a handout from taxpayers who are funding their junkets and private jets.
Welfare is Welfare!
Can I ask a question.
Why do you guys get so worked up over these celebrities? Who takes them seriously? They are entertainers, their job is to stay in the media and entertain.
The people who write the news report on them because we (the general public) lap it up and give it undue attention. If your job is to sell newspapers and the ones that sell the most feature Beyonce and Britney, guess what you're going to hear about.

Well Cher almost scared me to death after one of her rounds of plastic surgery, so I don't feel bad for her.

I don't get it. Are you talking about his election to Congress, or his death in a skiing accident? Or something else?
Funny thing to say, Sonny was a Republican. That said, when I was 14 years old my best friend and I snuck into through the stage door of the Bushnell in Hartford, and hit is piles of old stage curtains. We had orchestra seat tickets but we wanted to get back stage and it seemed exciting. We came out of hiding at show time and met Sonny and Cher. They were wonderful and friendly. The manager of the Bushnell told us to take our seats but after the show, Cher met us at the side stage door and invited us back stage again. I don't think she was more than 18 or 19 years old but we thought she was so beautiful. She always looked so "big" on tv and I was shocked at how petite she really was. She was tall, but she if she wore a size 2, it would have hung off of her. Same with her ring size. They invited us to a party at the Sonesta Hotel but I said NO. Why would adults invite young teens to a party at a hotel. It seemed like a really BAD idea My friend cried. She couldn't believe that I wouldn't go to a party with the Shindig Cast. (tv show of the 60's) She didn't speak to me for a week, because of course, she wouldn't go by herself.
Cher could be as dumb as a stone but she was very nice to us and I will give her a pass!![]()
Guess it was Sonny's idea . . .
maybe so, but she does not seem to be wrong here

hehehe......best unintentionally funny post of the day. The poster doth protest too much methinks.......
We don't reject anything out of hand, just inefficient, selfish & partisan solutions that will not work. Have fun watching the Democrat Stimulus Plan fail. It is your turkey. Enjoy!![]()
As far as caps go, let's include lawyers all 3 branches of govt, public servants & college professors (just fer kicks) and see what the reaction is from the "perpetually offended" (I am thinking they will take offense, but that is just me).
sounds reasonable to me.

Way to suck the funand frivolity
