She is Cher. Her opinion is worth no more and no less than the average person who posts here. If she feels that "Republicans almost killed her", it is no more ridiculous than the histrionics we read here on the Dis about how Obama is taking us to hell in a handbasket. Same old, same old.

Would love a serious other choice beside what we have now.

Yeh, I tuned out Cher years ago, upon hearing her rumbling baritone voice & seeing her freakish "manhands". I would hate to be slapped by her, as I expect it would leave a mark from my cheekbone down to my navel......(joke, just a joke).

I actually liked Cher in a few movies (the ones where she doesn't write her own lines of course).



I missed out on the whole Ashley Judd thing so far but expect she continues to be an easy target for ridicule.

First, after reading that, I can say with absolute certainty that Cher has below average intelligence.\

That aside, I can't understand why anyone would support either major party. Neither espouses the values of their constituency. They have both sold out. We need to elect a few independants to major offices to shake up the parties...

Funny thing to say, Sonny was a Republican. That said, when I was 14 years old my best friend and I snuck into through the stage door of the Bushnell in Hartford, and hit is piles of old stage curtains. We had orchestra seat tickets but we wanted to get back stage and it seemed exciting. We came out of hiding at show time and met Sonny and Cher. They were wonderful and friendly. The manager of the Bushnell told us to take our seats but after the show, Cher met us at the side stage door and invited us back stage again. I don't think she was more than 18 or 19 years old but we thought she was so beautiful. She always looked so "big" on tv and I was shocked at how petite she really was. She was tall, but she if she wore a size 2, it would have hung off of her. Same with her ring size. They invited us to a party at the Sonesta Hotel but I said NO. Why would adults invite young teens to a party at a hotel. It seemed like a really BAD idea My friend cried. She couldn't believe that I wouldn't go to a party with the Shindig Cast. (tv show of the 60's) She didn't speak to me for a week, because of course, she wouldn't go by herself.
Cher could be as dumb as a stone but she was very nice to us and I will give her a pass!

I sure she isn't wrong. She probably doesn't know why anyone would want to be a Republican. She is so bigoted she can not imagine that anyone would have a different view of the world than herself. Her closed mindedness affected her so deeply that it probably did almost kill her. She's an idiot.
