Thought it would be good to have a thread running where everyone can report their package pricing for the new Disney Visa free ticket upgrade promo that just started!

Here's the details of my reservation:

2/15 -2/18 @ POP (std. room)
10 day MYW w/PH & WP
DDP
2 Adults = $1095.96

I orginally had this booked as a room-only using a pincode and the price was $334. So for $760 more we have 10 days worth of tickets (which is actually 20 days if you count the Water Parks & More) and the dining plan. The tickets will be saved for another visit when we can stay longer. This works really well for us as there was only a few dollars difference between the 4 day ticket vs. the 10 day and we already had some really old PH's that we've been wanting to use for quite a while now. So even though I'm spending more money up front now...it will be a lot cheaper in the long run when we go back again with our kids and only have to buy 2 tickets instead of 4.

I just saved $350.00 on my reservation at POP for a family of five. I had two rooms booked (preferred) but had to switch to standard rooms because they said only standard rooms were available for the code. Free parks hoppers which is a plus for us because we don't tend to hop but maybe now we will.

2/2/08 - 2/8/08

2/23/08 - 3/1/08
2 adults, 1 child age 6
Coronado Springs, std room
8 day tickets with PH and water parks
basic dining
no insurance
$2,587.03

We saved about $200 from what we would have paid for 8 day tickets w/o PH and water parks (which is what we had planned to do if there was no discount), and about $500 from what we would have paid for 8 day tickets plus PH and water parks. This price is about $50 less than the AAA package rate on 8 day tickets w/o PH and water parks.

Woo hoo!

I just applied the Disney VISA discount code to the package I booked through AAA. I was expecting a savings of $404.76 to be applied to my package total, (i.e. I expected to save $101.19 on each of my four 6 day hopper/water parks and more tickets.) But the travel agent told me I saved a total of $649.49! :cool1: This seemed like more than I should have saved, but who am I to argue?

Do you think I should call back and ask more questions or should I not look a gift horse in the mouth.

And by the way, thank you , thank you , thank you to the DIS boards for making these discount codes known to us! :love:

* 2 adults and 1 junior (teen)

* arriving Feb 17th, 2008

* staying 6 nights at POR - standard view

* 7-day Magic Your Way tickets with park hopper and water park & more
options (with expiration)

* no dining plan

* no insurance

* Total: $1838 ($2522 if we decide to add dining)

I originally had booked a package a month ago for the same dates with 7 day hoppers without the water park/fun option. So, with the VISA deal, we saved $312 and also added the water park + fun option to our trip. Learned about this code from DISboards - so thanks! :cool1:

I wanted BCV or BWV for 2 adults and one child for 5 nights, plus deluxe dining and 5 day park hoppers, with no insurance.

Regular Disney price for this was $4202 and change.

My AAA price (BWV, couldn't get BCV) was $3553 and change.

With the new Visa code, it's $3353 and change - $200 less than the AAA rate.

So ultimately, I saved $849 off of the regular price. I questioned the Disney reservations person about how much the discount was, and she thought it was just a ticket upgrade. We went over and over the reservation to be sure were comparing apples and apples. She was kind of confused, but thought it fell under the category of "run with it".

So, IS there a discount or is it just supposed to be the ticket upgrade?

Oh, and I DID get BCV which is the best part of it! Now, I feel bad about cancelling the AAA reservation...

Booked 7 nights / 8 day parkhoppers w/ waterparks & basic dining - WL Bunks w/ Woods View $3336.62 (Old AAA Price was $3504).

There's our tip money!!!!

Help on the phone with CRO! I have existing resies at CSR for Jan 4-12. They are telling me that my Disney Visa code won't work at that, POR or CBR! What is up. The code just came out today!!!! Help!

2/2 - 2/9 @ Poly (Garden view room)
8 day MYW w/PH & WP
No dining
3 Adults / 2 kids (1 under 3) = $3491

Prior AAA room only, with tickets PH only = $3571.

So I saved $80 and got Water Parks "and more" for "free".

How are some of you getting the later dates? My email says to Feb 13th.

I just called and asked to check my dates as I hadn't even seen the specifics of the offer yet. It could be that I still received a discount from using the code, but it might not have been as much had my stay started prior to Feb. 13th. You never know until you try!

1/23 - 1/29 (6 nights) Pop Century std. room
4 adults - 2 rooms connecting
7 day PH, waterpark & more
Basic dining, no insurance
$2778.12 total

Had previously booked this through AAA for $2930.44, so saved $152.32.

I like the offer, but when I was there last Feb, there is no way that the weather was good enough for Water parks, does anyone know if Jan is any better for temps.?

Hey guys! It's been a while since my last stupid question so let me make up for lost time - I have a Disney Visa too and haven't gotten an e-mail - so the stupid question is: is this e-mail for January to February only? I'm planning for August so I was just wondering...:rolleyes1

I like the offer, but when I was there last Feb, there is no way that the weather was good enough for Water parks, does anyone know if Jan is any better for temps.?

I was there January 17 - 22, 2007, and it was really warm on the 21st and
22nd. Also I'm from the Phoenix area and used to hot weather, but if I had had the time, I would have gone to the waterpark.

I also have a Disney visa but no code?:confused3

I have received Disney Visa codes in the past by email, but not this time. It is strange - my email hasn't changed. I just keep an eye on mousesavers.com.

I tried to apply the code for our trip at the ASMusic Family Suites, but they were "sold out" of those rates (we already have the ressie, so we still have the room). I am guessing that there is some sort of percentage of rooms, and with so few Family Suites, I missed the boat. I'm hoping that I can catch the public discount code when it comes out.

We went the same time last year, and it was free PH, free water parks and more, and about a 15 percent room discount. Is anyone finding this to be true this year?
