Renting stroller at WDW

I'm trying to decide on stroller options for our upcoming April trip. At MK is the only place to purchase a stroller at the front of the park? I know you can get replacements throughout, but wasn't sure if you can also purchase a rental there as well?

I know he will need one at Epcot and probably AK. I'm trying to figure out if he will be OK in MK without one since the rides are all pretty close together, and if not, hoping we can grab one throught the park and not have to trek all the way to the front. We only have 4 park days so I think it will be cheaper to just rent on-site rather that using an outside company.

We won't need a stroller outside of the parks, so that is another reason to rent on-site. Also, is there any storage on these strollers? A mesh bag on the back or anything?

You can rent strollers at all the parks

How old is your child? Are you SURE you don't need one outside of the parks? My DD needed a stroller until she was 5 outside of the park. Late at night, they are really tired. Unless someone wants to carry a sleeping (heavy) child, it's a lifesaver to have a stroller. This is why we always bring a stroller from home My DD stopped using a stroller at home years earlier but at Disney where you are walking approx 10 miles a day (no joke ), it's a huge help to have one at WDW to avoid meltdowns! Nothing is worse than being at the back of WS in Epcot and them deciding that they can't walk anymore!!!

There is a tiny mesh bag on the park strollers. Wont' hold much

My question wasn't very clear................Can you also rent from the areas throughout the park where you can pick up a replacement? Or can you only puchase a rental at the main sales area?

Sorry I was confused. I didn't really understand why you would be getting a replacement stroller??? The only reason you could get a replacement (there is one additional place in each park that has replacements) is if your stroller broke or someone stole it. Now I get you meant if you were in the back of the park and needed one could you rent it then.

Answer is no: You can only rent them upfront.

I'm not sure where you got this info, but there is not any place to pick up a replacement stroller. The rental counter is the only place to pick up and return rental strollers. At most (I think all) of the parks the rental location is directly inside the park typically a few feet away from the turnstiles.

I am sooo not an expert on DW...but I think the OP might be talking about is how at the railroad in MK (for example), you leave your rented stroller behind when you get on and pick up another one when you get off.

Thanks Tnkrbelle565! I didn't think you could rent them at the replacement stations.

Woodkins, see the link Tnkrbelle565 posted. It gives you the places where you can pick up a replacement stroller if your is stolen, etc.
