Renting points - how to book DME?

I'm renting points for a 1 br stay at OKW in Oct and am wondering how to book Magical Express. Since we are listed on the reservation, can I call member services to do this, or does the DVC owner have to do it?

We've chosen to go this route and order groceries instead of a town car with grocery stop. Hope we've gone the right route!

The member will have to do that for you.

I just learned you can call the regular DME number and book that way, even if you are staying at a DVC on points.

I don't have the phone # offhand but there is a great thread on the Transportation board. It will give you the most up-to-date info you need for contacting ME for your reservation.

We are trying it this year too vs. the town car thing. Hopefully, DH & I will enjoy this arrangement equally as well as the town car/grocery shopping excursion.

Just got some conflicting info from the DME # [(866) 599 0951]

The CM said that they don't have DVC ressie info until only 10 days before the arrival, so they will only make DVC ressies at 10 days or less to arrival. I would have to make the ressies for my guests before that 10 day limit.

This was only one CM after a 10 minute phone hold, so I am curious what others have heard?

Non-members cannot talk to MS. New policy just implemented this week. The member has to make the call instead. Unless that is what you meant.
